It still baffles me...
...when people don't realize that the Charlie and Sarah (yes, Sarah, not Sara, dear "loyal viewer since season one" who has somehow missed the spelling of the name of one of the leads) romance has been teased from the very beginning of the series.
Season 5 has been their best one. There is finally some continuity and decent character arcs.
But haters gonna hate and probably should just stop watching if they're that dissatisfied. The ratings have stayed consistently high, so they're for sure doing something right. I can't wait to see what season six has in store.
This episode admittedly had its cheesy moments, but on the whole, it was pretty good.

What has happened to this show?
I don't know what in God's name is going on but this episode is the last in a long line of trash this season. Nothing feels authentic to the original show. I have been a loyal watcher since episode one. The story arc of Sara and Charlie is superficial at best. There has been no real connection there. The contrived romance between Joe and the other superintendent is banal. Although I will say, Kevin Hanchard is wonderful and at least conveys a romantic aura to the scenes. But ti pivot and have the stupidity of a 'Kung fu' style fight was not only cheesy, but frankly insulting to the Asian population. Since Mr Pope died, this production has gone off the rails.
