This short film was conceived as a vehicle to present the band Damn Laser Vampires, taking advantage of the presence of New Zealander director David Blyth in Fantaspoa Film Festival.
Filming was done without a specific script. There was one main idea (that the Damn Laser Vampires would be modern exorcists that fight demons with their music) that was abandoned early in the shooting.
Brazilian filmmaker Felipe M. Guerra was second unit director. However, for directing most of the scenes with the band and other characters in the nightclub, he received a co-director credit.
