I listen to audio books all the time because I can't read a book during the day (at work). I love them and this one was no exception. It was well written, great performances by the actors and I listened to the whole thing in two sittings, it was that good. It was just the right amount of suspense, the right amount of science fiction, the right amount of excitement, sadness, and happiness. I can't wait for the a sequel. I hope there will be one. One recommendation is that there was more of a pre-story or background at the beginning concerning the Dr.s relationships. Overall very interesting and well done. Bravo!

Well crafted script. Held my interest. The underlying premise is revealed with one veil after another being lifted that keeps you hooked. As the mysteries are piled on one after another they reveal pieces of the overarching story as Chastain's character is also dealing with various personal and family dramas. Similar in some respects to Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Strong performance by Chastain and supporting cast. Only downer was it could have been tightened up to seven episodes instead of eight. Ending was a brutal cliffhanger, so when do we get Season 2?
I guess with the actors strike the A-list talent was available. Most audio dramas are weak and disappointing, but this one delivered.
