This is a near perfect episode of the show - one in which all the features gel together brilliantly and everything works to a tee.
Well done to all involved, this was an absolute joy from start to finish, with each of the features offering up pure joy and escapism.
I even enjoyed the little Two Ronnies-esque serial bit, which I don't tend to, which is really saying something for how high the bar of quality was this week.
Ant and Dec and indeed this format can still offer up an awful lot of joy, and remind us again why this show has run for 19 series and why they are worth their weight in gold to ITV.
