Tom Selleck gets ambushed so to speak in this Blue Bloods episode. He's at a reception and teen concert cellist Sheetal Sheth asks for his help. As Selleck is the hero nothing else he can do but help. Sheth wants to stay in this country because she will be killed by her father for a romantic fling. That's a disgrace to a Moslem family.
I can attest to the truth of that. Back in my working days at Crime Victims Board I did a pair of claims for two brothers who were killed by the father of a girl one of them was fooling around with. The problem was she was married and note it wasn't the husband it was the father who did the deed. He forgot that in the USA such things aren't done.
Donnie Wahlberg finally gets to anger management class after blowing up at a potential witness. The victim was a 10 year old child. He thinks it a joke, but later he has to patiently deal with a most upset father with a gun. Maybe there was something to what he scoffed at previously.
After Sami Gayle gets upset with her mother Bridget Moynahan for being overbearing teaching her to drive, it's gentle and patient Uncle Jamie drafted to deal with the driving lessons. The contrasting scenes with Bridget Moynahan and Will Estes as driving instructors is enlightening.
All in all a nice Blue Bloods story.
