Ella is excited to get her own room but Tilly is not as thrilled. She asks Slippy if he can make her a time machine to slow down time so tomorrow never comes. Slippy says the only place time shows down is around black holes. Tilly races off with Madhu to find one. Maggie tries to explain how time moves more slowly at the black hole and how time moves differently at home but it's very difficult to understand. Tilly runs off with Madhu to hide. Will Slippy and Ella find them in time to be home for dinner?

Tilly is dressed as her alter-ego, SuperTilly - the greatest superhero in the universe. When her dad asks her if she can send him his toolbox, it's SuperTilly to the rescue. Tilly accidentally sends the tool box to the wrong moon, and refuses Ella's help. Ella follows her to Titan where they find the now empty tool box. Slippy and Madhu arrive to help but Tilly once again refuses. Tilly realizes that sometimes superheroes need super sidekicks (and a super-sister!) to get the job done.

Madhu is sad to learn that the spectacular giant red star they were going to visit is now a small white dwarf star that will give off its energy until it goes dark. Ella and Slippy try to cheer Madhu up by going sliding, playing mini putt and having a dance party, but nothing works. Ella realizes that sometimes when something sad happens, you need to think about it to understand it and feel sad for a while. The best thing a friend can do is be understanding and supportive.

Ella and the gang are going camping. But as they approach their camp site, Maggie alerts them that a giant solar flare is heading their way. They must turn off all their electronics until the storm subsides. Slippy sets up the camp site while Ella tries to find a way out. She realizes that while she can't rely on technology, science can help them. They assemble a large tent and cover it with a gold sheet that shields them from the charged particles. They fire up their scooters from inside the tent and fly safely out of the storm.

Slippy's Dad insists he get rid of all his inventions to free up some space. Slippy can't bear to, so decides to store them on the dark side of Mercury. When he realizes that Mercury spins, turning the cold side into an astronomically hot one, the gang hurries to find a way to move the inventions before they melt. Slippy builds a huge umbrella to shade his inventions while Ella becomes stranded on a ledge when her scooter and space boots overheat. Will Slippy save his inventions or his best friend?

Ella is very impressed by Angelie, her mom's new field assistant. She especially likes the incredible tricks she does on her surfboard. When the blue star Mom has discovered seems to have disappeared, Angelie offers to go check it out. Ella jumps at the chance to go with her. While searching for the lost star, they discover a super-massive black hole. Once Ella follows Angelie's advice to chill, slow down and think things through, she figures out that Mom's star must have been shredded by the black hole.

On Sedna, Ella and her friends discover the space probe Voyager 1. Ella takes the Golden Record from the probe and takes it to Mom who reveals that Ella's greatest grandfather recorded a greeting on it. The friends rush to complete a new Voyager probe and record new greetings. Ella is eager to launch it but Slippy feels it was built too quickly and needs work. They go ahead anyway only to watch it crash. The team takes their time to rebuild the probe properly, and successfully launch it back into space.

When Angelie breaks Slippy's Jupiter gliding record, he's equally upset and fascinated by her surfboard. The two agree on a rematch and set out to work on their vehicles. They both ask Ella for help. Ella sweetly suggests they work together, but the pair refuses so she races back and forth between the two. They are finally ready to race. Which between the glider and the surfboard will best handle the winds and lightning on Jupiter? Who will get around the red spot first? It's team Angelippy.

Ella has her best idea yet for a fun day. They will visit a nebula for each member of the family. Up first is Bernard 68, picked for Maggie. But it is very dark and frightens Tilly. The Calabash nebula is next. Ella picked it for Dad because it's shaped like his tow truck. Then comes the Hand of God nebula for Mom. It has a powerful pulsar they need to stay clear of. Then comes the Carina nebula, picked for Ella. Just like her, it's interstellar. When Dad's truck breaks down, they head to the Boomerang nebula.

Human Day is Ella's favourite day of the year and she invites Madhu to join her family for dinner. Madhu wants to make a good impression and wonders how to prepare. With Maggie's help, Madhu learns about the customs of different cultures, how to dress and what kind of gifts to bring. But for all the preparation and effort, everything goes wrong and Madhu runs away feeling humiliated. Ella finds Madhu and explains that Human Day is a celebration of everyone's uniqueness, and Madhu is the most unique of all.

While checking out a rogue planet, Ella, Slippy and Madhu crash onto its surface. When the heat from underground causes the planet's icy crust to burst open, they all tumble down into the darkness and become separated. Madhu, Ella and Slippy are unsure what to do. Ella finds Glitch and Slippy finds Maggie. In this different world, Ella and Slippy must learn to change their problem-solving tactics in order to find their way back to each other, reunite with Madhu and off the very unstable surface of the rogue planet.
Ella and her friends play a star-riddle game that is a tradition in Slippy's family. In order to beat Slippy's cousins, they need to find some super-giant stars. As they race around, Slippy becomes discouraged as Gem and I.Lo find the second of three super-giant stars. Ella refuses to give up so easily and soldiers on to decipher the next riddle. When Slippy realizes that Ella is headed towards a star about to explode, he rushes to warn her. Can they all get out of the way before the star goes supernova?
It's Priya's birthday so the gang is looking for something special as a gift for her. Ella suggests a birthday star, which is a star that is the same light years away as your age. Ross 154 is ten light years away from Priya, so it's the perfect birthday star. But when it turns out to be small and boring, they decide to zhuzh it up a bit. Slippy makes singing robots, Madhu makes a sculpture but Ella gets more adventure than she bargained for when a flare threatens them all. Will Priya like her presents?
Ella feels terrible when she accidentally ruins some of her mother's old photographs. She convinces her family to recreate the scenes in the old pictures into new ones. But things don't go quite as planned; a lot has changed in space over the years, and perfectly recreating the scenes proves to be impossible. While Ella is disappointed, her parents make her feel better by explaining that while the old photos may be gone, they still have their memories. Creating new memories together is a lot more fun.
Slippy promised his uncle to water his plants while he is away. When he finally heads to the greenhouse, he discovers that the watering system he built is broken. The plants are not doing well. The gang resorts to watering the plants with a hose. But the water instantly vaporizes, emptying the water tank. Ella and Slippy travel to Kepler 22b, a water covered planet. Ella realises that ice does not vaporize so she collects ice chunks. Back at the greenhouse, the ice melts and the plants are watered, just in time.
When Slippy, Madhu and Ella head out to see a SuperNova, they arrive too late because of Slippy's endless preparations. The gang quickly decide to go zip-lining on Ganymede instead. Despite bringing the wrong equipment, Slippy accepts to go forward, eager to make up for his earlier blunder. But preparation is important and with Slippy throwing caution to the wind, the less than perfect equipment soon breaks and lands them in trouble. Will Slippy's perfect preparation save the day?
Ella, Tilly, Slippy and Madhu are playing a game on the moon when it starts to rumble. The ground cracks open and they fall into what they discover is a large network of tunnels underground. Because their exit is blocked, they need to find a different way out. Slippy tries to bore their way out, but he is no match for the moon rock. They race through the tunnels looking for an exit and, in the process, lose Madhu. Only when they stop to think and come up with a new plan do they find Madhu and a way out.
When Glitch's compartment empties out and a huge amount of junk floats out, Ella suggests that Slippy get rid of it. They all head to Vesta. Slippy is enchanted by the amount of stuff on the planetoid. Madhu finds something that looks like a robot so the gang sets out to find the other pieces. They quickly put together an impressive robot they call Victor. Victor is designed to recycle and he happily does just that. But when Slippy brings him back to the Clubhouse, they soon realise Victor needs to be in his home.
Slippy's cousin Gem wants time apart from her twin brother I.Lo but he doesn't want to hear it. His stubbornness causes her to lose a game of capture-the-flag. When no one wants to investigate the super puff planet they discovered, Gem races off on her own, despite the very high temperatures and strong winds. Ella explains to a confused I.Lo how Gem is feeling. Gem and I.Lo finally come to an understanding. They will always be twins, but they are also their own people.
Ella stretches the truth a bit when she tells Angelie she can comet surf. She decides to try but finds it's a lot harder than it looks. Slippy adds rockets to an asteroid so Ella can practice on that instead. But Ella still wants to impress Angelie, so they make the asteroid look like a comet to fool her. The ruse does not work and Angelie calls Ella out on it, when a piece of comet breaks off and threatens H.O.M.E. Station. Slippy is sent to activate its protective shield, which he does in the nick of time.
The gang is practicing to play Saturn Dance with Priya when she calls to tell them she is sick. She won't be able to come. Ella is very disappointed and wonders how they can cheer up Priya. They decide to collect the sounds of the galaxy so they can make her a song. Madhu knows exactly where to collect sounds. Slippy invents a radio receiver that allows them to hear them. They listen to a Nebula, gas giant Jupiter, a Marsquake, a solar storm, and earth's magnetic field. When they add a beat, they get a marvelous song.
Ella and Slippy are practicing Pluto Jump Ride when Tilly begs to go too. Ella tells her it's too dangerous and gives her a practice jump stick before she leaves. Madhu arrives to play and finds Tilly alone. Unaware of Ella's heeding, Madhu suggests they go to Pluto too. Tilly is thrilled. When they arrive, Tilly avoids being seen but Ella soon discovers her. And she is not happy. Tilly tries to show Ella that she is ready for Pluto but one tiny false move results in a huge problem. Will Pluto ever be the same?
Ella, Slippy and Madhu are spiral space diving when Ella explains what inspired the idea. It's a huge colourful spiral that Maggie is not able to identify. As she tries, she begins to glitch. Like real scientists, they collect information, make observations, jot down data but Maggie is still glitching in unexpected ways. Slippy suggests they collect some dust but when that doesn't work, they head out to another source. The wind is fierce there so they decide to spiral dive to make it inside. Will they find the solution?
