The last surviving member of Lfo wants to keep the late Devin Lima's legacy alive ... and he can think of nothing better than to publish previously unreleased music just in time for the holidays. Brad Fischetti tells TMZ ... he just released "Xiles Xmas" and "Hip Hop Reindeers." The 'Reindeers' track is a tribute to all the artists who influenced Lfo over the years -- from Snoop Dogg and Andre 3000 to Jay-z, Biggie Smalls and Tupac.

Devin Lima, whose pop band LFO released the hit “Summer Girls” in 1999, has died following a year-long battle with cancer. He was 41. Us Weekly confirmed Lima’s death.
In October 2017, fellow LFO member Brad Fischetti revealed that Lima had been diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer and he underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his adrenal gland, CNN reported.
“I wish we had better news to share,” Fischetti said at the time. “It’s devastating news but at the same time, there’s nobody I know stronger than Devin Lima.

Genre market Frontières Platform (May 12-13), the co-presentation between the Fantasia International Film Festival and Cannes’ Marché du Film, will this year feature projects from Denis Côté, Ben Wheatley and Can Evrenol. The Frontières Buyers Showcase (Sunday May 13 at 4pm in Palais K) will feature 6 films, with producers screening footage for potential buyers, sales agents and festival programmers. The lineup includes Denis Côté’s (Vic + Flo Saw A Bear) Ghost Town Anthology, Jovanka Vuckovic’s (Xx) Riot Girls, which is handled by Xyz in the U.S., and Antonio Tublen’s (Lfo) Zoo, which is handled by Seville International. The proof of concept presentation on Saturday May 12 will include Girl Without A Mouth, the new film from Baskin director Can Evrenol, and Casey Walker’s UK-Canadian project Whitaker, produced by Andy Starke, Pete Tombs and Free Fire director Ben Wheatley for Rook Films alongside Jonathan Bronfman (The Witch).

Director Antonio Tublen won a lot of fans in these parts with his quirky microbudget scifi comic thriller Lfo and we've been anxiously awaiting word on his next effort - the upcoming dark psychological thriller Robin - since we ran the first stills a little while back. And with the film about to have its world premiere as part of the Brussells International Fantastic Film Festival we're proud to now follow those stills with the first trailer. A traumatized woman is found in a forest, she claims to have witnessed a murder. As the police investigates further they do not find any evidence to prove her story. It was back in 2013 that we last heard from director Antonio Tublen with his quirky scifi comic thriller Lfo. That film was a pretty remarkable accomplishment on a tiny budget, with Tublen proving that he had a very distinct voice and unique visual style. And he returns this year with dark Danish thriller Robin. A traumatized woman is found in a forest, she claims to have witnessed a murder. As the police investigates further they do not find any evidence to prove her story. The woman is convinced that she will be the next victim and starts her own investigation to find out what has really happened - trying to find the murderer before he finds her. As she comes closer to the truth...
