Star Wars: The Fugitive

Warning: Spoilers
Fantastic episode that essentially adapts the Fugitive into the Star Wars canon, really gripping and gives us a sort of look at what the empire would become on Tarkin's base.

Suspicion

This is the second part of a 4 part arc where each episode is named after a Hitchcock movie. Here the wonderful Hitchcockian elements start ramping up as we get the classic Hitchcock theme of an innocent person being wrongly accused and going on the run. The suspense builds hugely and the chase scenes through sewers etc are beautifully atmospheric.

There is great emotion as Anakin and Ahsoka try to battle the accusation and Anakin has to pursue his own apprentice.

This is a genius arc. I love it! So clever and impactful.

My rating: 10/10.

It keeps getting better and better!

The episode improves upon the previous episode and has some extremely gripping moments. An engaging plot and an even better execution, this arc is becoming as one of the best arcs of the series.

Ashoka finds herself framed with a series of events all putting her in suspicion. Anakin being the only one who believes her Ashoka finds herself on the run.

Anakin loses his cool once, which seems a little contradictory due to what he stated earlier to Ashoka. All the events are pointing towards her, it will be interesting to see how she gets out of it. Also, it will be interesting to know who is behind all this and how are they able to move so easily around the stronghold.

Direction: Great.

Screenplay/story: Awesome.

Music: Great.

Overall an extremely gripping episode.

Even better

This one was very good. Like others are saying, it definitely feels like The Fugitive and even a bit like the Hitchcock movies the titles of the episodes are referencing. Seeing Ashoka run from clones was very cool. Good episode.

Good episode. Shoddy logic.

Warning: Spoilers
I think this episode is pretty good overall. The concept is very interesting and dramatic, but poorly executed. Everyone suddenly acts like a complete idiot just for the sake of the story.

Ahsoka is set up for the murder of a prisoner in the most bizarre way imaginable. She supposedly force chokes a woman while she is completely alone in a cell and is then immediately arrested. How stupid would she have to be to murder someone alone in a cell with the guards right outside the door? I guess it's not possible to use THE FORCE to choke someone unless you're in the room with them...

Also, at this point Ahsoka is literally a massive war hero. She's been on countless missions and literally just saved Anakin's life. She was personally chosen to investigate because she wasn't around when the temple was attacked in the last episode. Of all the Jedi to frame, not sure Ahsoka was the right one to go with chief. She ofc then does the worst possible thing and tries to escape when realistically they had nothing on her if she just chilled in the cell. Yoda, Mace and the other Jedi would defo believe she didn't do anything wrong. I mean they were literally in the room when Ahsoka got told by Tarkin that the suspect wanted to talk to her... Alone. Why would the suspect ask to speak with supposedly the one person who would want to kill her?

DOESN'T MATTER ITS THE PERFECT FRAME JOB EVER

Overall, the episodes still fun and I'm probably just picking holes but you've gotta question the logic a bit. I feel like the writers could've come up with a better way that made Ahsoka look more guilty instead of making it THIS obvs she was innocent.
