- One of Satyaki's patients commits suicide while under treatment. It leaves him broken. He quits practicing as a psychologist as locals ransack his chamber. Satyaki goes to his aunt's house at Jonai where uncanny events start taking place.
- When one of Satyaki's patients commits suicide while under his treatment and supervision, the repercussions leave Satyaki shattered and broken. A sudden burst of self-loathing and doubt clouds his judgement and he quits practicing as a psychologist as the locals ransack his chamber, questioning his credibility as a doctor. A completely broken down Satyaki decides to call off his marriage, and goes on a small vacation to his aunt's house at Jonai. On his visit to the place uncanny events start taking place. First, his cousin brother Saibal dies of a heart attack on the day of Holi. His wife Ranja, in a state of utter shock and disbelief, starts hallucinating about her husband long after his death. Satyaki on probing, finds out that Ranja is suffering from schizophrenia and hatches a plan to get her out of this state of denial and hysterical anxiety.—Promita Mukherjee
