- After Daphne sets a quick turnaround for payment, the Nicolettis devise a plan to steal a valuable necklace at an auction. As Emma and Charlie are both pursuing Daphne, their worlds nearly collide.
- The Nicolettis loathe but have no choice but to do Daphne's bidding in the repayment of the $10 million they stole plus an extra $5 million for good measure "or else". Their first target in recouping the first installment of the repayment money is whoever purchases a specific necklace at auction. But they discover that the seller and the buyer of said necklace ends up being the same entity, which smacks of the necklace being laundered. With the Russians involved, nothing about trying to steal the necklace goes like clockwork, placing Charlie the most of the family members in grave danger. Concurrently, they believe to get the upper hand in their new unwanted relationship with Daphne, they have to find out more about her. In Charlie's sleuthing, he is unaware that Emma too is after Daphne. Emma receives an unexpected job offer, making her contemplate bringing someone else into her confidence about her true line of work. And in their continuing time together, Charlie and Emma each view their relationship differently from the other, which may make the one point of agreement about it, the sex, no longer tenable.—Huggo
