Sex & Nudity

  • Two scenes implying Marc and Kay having sex. The latter is more graphic:
  • It is raining in the forest, Marc and Kay are having sex on the side of Kay's car. However they take off their shorts until the camera zooms in on the expression of their faces. Nothing explicit.
  • At Kay's apartment, Marc is on top of Kay and are kissing passionately then Kay flips to his side and Marc begins thrusting into him. They are nude (brief shot of Kay's penis). The scene is rather romantic than erotic.
  • Surprisingly, there's almost no sex-related discussion throughout the movie, even before or after the intercourse.
  • Marc and Kay go to a gay club and touch each other while dancing, then make out in a bathroom stall.
  • A scene in the beginning of the film in which Bettina (who has a shirt on) is on top of Marc (nude), implying sex.
  • Kay goes jogging after Marc. From there they are in a tight embrace that leads to kissing and Kay giving Marc a hand-job for a few seconds and leaves running away.
  • At the academy in the showers, some men including Kay can be seen fully nude.
  • Kay (who's smoking ) and Marc are nude sitting next to each other on the floor in front of a bed. No graphic nudity can be seen although the camera is close.
  • Some passionate and sensual kisses

Violence & Gore

  • (Some fights are caused due to homophobia)
  • In the beginning of the film, Marc shoves Kay against his locker for a few seconds (without really hurting him) and leaves annoyed.
  • Marc punches Kay in the face claiming that he himself is not gay. A small portion of Kay's lip is bleeding, nothing too serious.
  • Marc appears at Kay's apartment where they have an argument about their affair. Marc becomes speechless about what Kay says and flips over a table in the room with some glass objects on it.
  • Kay is beaten up by his colleagues after being spotted at a gay bar however this is not shown (offscreen). Marc visits Kay who appears to have a black eye and a few minor facial injuries.
  • A colleague in the locker-room with Marc is making fun of him that if Kay "f*cked up" his common sense. Marc comes out to him that they had an affair. The colleague then harasses him a bit that he should "blow him off" until Marc kisses him just to annoy him and is extremely angered by it. The colleague then punches/hits Marc several times however Marc doesn't seemed to be bothered regardless of how hard he is hit, only to bother him. Their physical fight is then broken up right away by the boss. Nothing too much but can easily upset viewers.

Profanity

  • P*ssy is said various times, F*ggot is said a few times, F*ck is said a bit, and C*ck is said once. Most of them are said in a non-sexual way.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Kay smokes several times throughout the film (in his car and at his apartment with Marc).
  • Marc smokes a bit and is shown next to several beer bottles at his home alone.
  • Marc and Kay are at a gay bar dancing however they get into one of the stalls and each of them swallow a pill.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • (Several scenes involving how Marc is confronting and embracing his homosexual side)
  • The film is partly made about Marc coming out, so there are lots of emotional and fighting inside his head. No frightening scenes though.
