Chrisley Knows Best alum, Savannah Chrisley doesn’t see the oral appeal as a fail for her dad, Todd Chrisley. Julie Chrisley’s case was vacated, but nothing changed for her husband. However, his daughter, presumably with their legal team, won’t be giving up yet. She still fights on for his early release.
Savannah Chrisley Gave Todd’s Reaction To Julie’s News
When the appeal finding arrived, it seemed that nothing had changed for Todd Chrisley. He’s been left to serve his prison sentence for fraud and tax-related charges. Critics of the Chrisley Knows Best family not only smirk about that on social media, but they think Savannah’s delusional if she thinks her mom will get much reduced time. If there's one thing more popular than true crime documentaries on Netflix, it's surely reality shows. The streamer has churned out a string of highly successful reality series, from "Love is Blind" to the controversial "Squid Game" reality show that was criticized for alleged "inhumane" conditions on the set. Now, the streamer has debuted its latest unorthodox take on the reality format with "Unlocked: A Jail Experiment," and it's another pretty controversial (and hugely popular) one from Netflix.
The show chronicles Arkansas sheriff Eric Higgins' radical approach to changing the conditions in Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. That is to say that Higgins essentially handed over one unit of the county jail to its inmates. According to Tudum, "Unlocked: A Jail Experiment" is "an eight-episode exploration of what happens when unit cells are unlocked for six weeks, and detainees create community and structure for themselves." What could possibly go wrong?...

Savannah Chrisley, daughter of “Chrisley Knows Best” stars Todd and Julie, updated E! News about how her parents are faring in prison after they were indicted for tax fraud.
“Mentally, it’s a hard place to be at. You do the same things over and over and over again, every single day. And missing their kids… Missing us is hard, but also missing each other,” she told E! News in an exclusive interview.
Adding that “another way that the system is broken” is the fact it’s keeping them apart, Savannah said, “They were together 24/7 and they’ve gone now eight months without speaking, and that’s the tough part.”
Todd and Julie’s prison sentences were reduced earlier this month. The reality TV star and his second wife received a combined 19-year prison sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion in June 2022. Todd received a 12-year sentence in November while Julie received seven years.

Squid Game was a legit pop culture phenomenon when it came out in the fall of 2021. No one expected a Korean show like this to have such an impact in North America, but the show became a bona-fide sensation, with the show quickly earning a season two renewal. While the release date hasn’t been revealed yet, at Netflix’s Tudum event, we got a look at the new cast, who join our two returning players, Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun and Lee Byung-hun as Hwang In-ho as the Front Man (as well as the recruiter played by Gong You).
According to Netflix’s Tudum site, the four new players are Korean stars “Yim Si-wan (Unlocked), Kang Ha-neul (The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure), Park Sung-hoon (The Glory) and Yang Dong-geun (Yaksha: Ruthless Operations).” No news yet on who they’re playing, but expect more info on the new season soon.

“I didn’t really have a life-or-death experience, but I did try committing suicide so that potentially was maybe my life-or-death experience,” the 25-year-old said. “But for me, it was more a cry for help.”
She explained that the attempt happened when she was 15 or 16-years-old, believing it occurred around the time her family stated filming their first reality series.
“It’s so crazy because when you go through so much trauma, I feel like you’re mind just blocks it out,” Chrisley said. “I also feel like, too, there...

Savannah Chrisley has shared some insight into how her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, are getting on in prison, revealing that the married couple hasn’t been able to speak to each other since being locked up four months ago. Speaking on the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah revealed that her mother recently gave her 30 to 40 handwritten letters, which she’d written while in prison, detailing her daily life behind bars and how she misses her husband, Todd. “She actually sent me 30 to 40 days’ worth of letters. It was just like her daily diary journal,” Savannah said. “I’ll eventually put them out, read them at some point to give people updates on how they are doing and what was going through their minds.” “I don’t think there’s a single letter that goes by that she does not say how much she misses my dad,” she added.

Disney+ is boosting its growing K-drama slate with Han River Police, an action comedy series starring Kwon Sang-woo (Stairway to Heaven, Curtain Call) and Kim Hee-won (Netflix’s Unlocked).
Kwon will star as Han Dujin, the hot-tempered sergeant of the Han River Police Force who holds back for nobody, while Kim plays Lee Chunseok, a laid-back lieutenant with the exact opposite personality. Stuck together on patrol of Seoul’s Han River, the two officers are faced with emergency situations ranging from terrorism to everyday accidents and other incidents requiring emergency assistance — a premise that suggests all of the action, humor and offbeat crime-solving of the classic buddy cop genre.
Disney hasn’t released additional casting info for the show, but local news outlet Korea JoongAng Daily reports that Shin Hyeon-seung (So Not Worth It), Lee Sang-yi (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha) and Bae Da-bin (Gangnam Beauty) will co-star as other cops on the Han River Police force.

With its list of new releases for March 2023, Amazon Prime Video might be rolling out its most impressive monthly lineup yet.
We know that sounds like something straight out of a press release but in this case, it’s actually true! Prime Video, bless it, has some excellent original titles like The Boys and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but its monthly release updates have often been less inspiring than its TV peers. That’s certainly not the case with March 2023 though.
Prime Video gets its streaming party started early by premiering the first three episodes of Daisy Jones & The Six on March 3. This series, based on a book of the same name, tells the fictional Behind the Music-esque story of an equally fictional band. Then, on March 17, Amazon’s partnership with Donald Glover bears its first fruit with the series about obsessive fandom called Swarm. Reggie Jackson documentary Reggie premieres...

Netflix Top 10 (Week of February 13): ‘You’ and ‘Your Place or Mine’ remain atop charts for 2nd week
Netflix has released the Top 10 viewing numbers for the week of February 13, and without any new high-profile releases last week, the charts mostly remained the same as last time. Penn Badgley’s series “You” and the Reese Withspoon-Ashton Kutcher rom-com “Your Place or Mine” did well again, the latter presumably helped by Valentine’s Day last Tuesday.
The fourth season of “You” ended up in the Top 10 in 88 countries with 64.1 million hours viewed, down from 92 million views its launch week with the first five episodes having 38 million views. The first and third seasons also continue to be watched with 22.4 million and 15.6 million hours, respectively.
By comparison, “Your Place or Mine” increased its views to 52.8 million hours vs. the previous week’s 51.2 million views. Again, the romantic comedy from “The Devil Wears Prada” scribe Aline Brosh McKenna probably got a nice bump from V-Day. Other movies returning to the...

March is still winter, no matter which animal you ask, which means it’s still completely acceptable to cancel all plans and curl up under a blanket in front of the TV. Prime Video’s movie library updates throughout the month, with most of its new additions on March 1 — including the “Rocky” saga, multiple “Carrie” adaptations, “12 Angry Men,” and more.
For Prime users who love books and TV, March means the highly-anticipated premiere of “Daisy Jones & the Six,” based on the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The eponymous Daisy (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne’s band (Sam Claflin) make a mean match, starting with a hit single and leading to what seems like endless fame and glory. But where there is success there is peril, and both the band’s rise and an electric connection with Daisy threaten Billy’s marriage and everyone’s personal lives. James Ponsoldt,...

Our smartphones have become almost an extension of ourselves in today’s digital age, with people depending on their phones for so many of our daily tasks. This also means that our handsets hold a large number of our data, a lot of it highly sensitive, which in the wrong hands could prove rather harmful to us. For his debut directorial, Kim Tae-joon adapts the popular Japanese film “Stolen Identity”, itself based on a namesake novel, and brings Korean sensibilities to this real-world problem in Netflix’s newest Korean release “Unlocked”.
