A very unique team

Of course, since the channels are flooded with crime series we need to be picky to find what we really want to see. There are generally two groups of audiences: the one's who like a good and intersting team and the other who prefers very clever stories. I admit I belong to the first group, which is why I like this show. The idea of a micro department for cases which are not crime cases, created to get rid of unpopular of assumed untalented police officers is intriguing and entertaining as well. In their first case, just after their get to gether, we learn who is who and why he/she landed in this outfit. But of course in doe time they stop idling around and begin to solve the case no mather what. Looking forward to the next installment!

Pretty good new crime series from Germany

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was released about a year ago as a German television production (90 minutes as always) and I have to say I was very positively surprised. All the characters are interesting to watch with their quirks, especially the two police detectives and the filmmakers are pretty brave and not scared of anything. Violence is depicted, mafia references are thrown in, romance between colleagues is depicted and not a taboo as usually and they are not even scared of severely injuring one of the team. The introduction was nicely done too.

Maybe the most important factor why this worked out so well, however, is the film's humor. One character gets praised for being almost on time and we see a random funny casting show appearance. If you are interested in German cinema, you may have come across some of the other actors such as Koschitz, Tramitz or Bruch already as well, so the cast is fine too. The director is Urs Egger from Switzerland. i am not familiar with him, but he did a good job too. As did the writers. They also returned for the second film which came out half a year later and I hope there will be more sequels. Bernadette Heerwagen play the female protagonist and she has had a respectable career so far, also on the big screen. Marcus Mittermeier plays the male cop and he is a very experienced television actor. Also in it is Alexander Held (don't mistake him for the judge Alexander Hold). He has been in so many known projects already ("Sophie Scholl", "Schindler's List", "Downfall", "Die Welle"...). His character has more screen time in the second movie. I also liked how the body that these three belong to has been newly created at the beginning of this movie, so we have a bit of a feeling that we are with them right from the start.

My favorite comedic scene was maybe the one with the secretary and the appointment. That was pretty hilarious. But there is more. Check it out if you manage to get a hand on this movie. Recommended.
