Saturday Night Live Host: Jennifer Lawrence
dalydj-918-25517520 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Piers Morgan Tonight: Pierce Morgan is played by Tarran Killam with his guest of Lance Armstrong played by Jason Sudeikis. They talk about the drug scandal but also get an Oprah joke in there. Lance yells blaming his cancer. Also a satellite conversation with Matie Te'o because of his hoax scandal about a dead girlfriend. The sketch ends with the return of McKinnon's Jodie Foster speaking about her golden globes speech and at the end admitting her being a lesbian. C (MVP: Kate McKinnon)

Monologue: Jennifer Lawrence is the host and she comes out nervous and talks about her golden globes speech and the reference she made in her speech. Then speaking about her brothers she invited Tommy Lee Jones played by Bill Hader with the blank stare. She ends the monologue making fun of her fellow Oscar nominees. C+ (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)

Starbucks Verismo: People who do not want to go to the store get these machines for home but it's like having one of the workers and their bosses in your home talking back to you and getting orders wrong. D (MVP: N/A)

Girlfriends Talk Show: Morgan and Kiera return with Jesse the punk band this time round. Morgan seems to be scared by Jesse and her punk style. First topic they talk about piercing then followed by makeup over speaking about guinea pigs. Not much fighting this time around as they all seem to get along well. B- (MVP: Aidy Bryant)

Post Hunger Games Press Conference: Jennifer as Katniss and Taran as Peta at a press conference after winning the games together. They are asked strange questions about food and all the other contestants being dead. Peta does not seem well liked but is asked a question about the fake relationship the two made during the games. Drugs and the beard questions come up making bad questions from the press. B- (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)

18 Hobbit Films: So many hobbit movies so Peter Jackson decided to make much more then the three he had planned. They were able to make jokes about singing Dwarfes but also when 18 films are made the last one comes out July 2028. B- (MVP: Tarran Killam)

Johnny Two Tones: A couple go to a restaurant where they expect to be made fun for comedy. When a young waitress Brenda comes to their table and instead of being fun seems quite evil. Brenda continues to be threatening to this one couple even though everyone else seems to loves her. B- (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)

The Lumineers - "Ho Hey": The band sing their most famous song and they have a cool ease to them which just makes their performance great to watch. B (MVP: The Lumineers)

Weekend Update: Top Stories include the Lance Armstrong scandal, the Manti Te'o scandal and January 19th being named gun appreciation day just to name a few. The only guest of this update is Anthony Crispino with second hand bad news such as the golden globes and Kim Kardashian being pregnant. This is really all that happened with one guest being surprising. C- (MVP: Seth Meyers)

Top Dog Chef: Dog channel version of Top Chef with Padma Leash Me as the host with only three contestants left competing. Scout, Bailey and Hershey are the contestants cooking with remains from a trash bag. Nothing really much special happened except Lawrence's Bailey won. E (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)

Richard And The Buffalo: The morning hip hop radio show hosted by these two guys this time with an assistant of their's who finds it hard to rap by not rhyming the end of her beats. The invite their weather correspondent whom they call MC Jigglebutt. She gives her report but the atmosphere feels uncomfortable. B (MVP: Bobby Monyihan)

The Lumineers - "Stubborn Love": Second song for the band tonight and while it's not as well known this performance maybe with the set up comes off more classy to me. B- (MVP: The Lumineers)

Danielle: A Free European Woman: This sketch follows Danielle a girl so attractive everyone seems to see her naked when they look at how attractive she is. The voices were obviously dubbed and came off strange as some jokes did not land well enough. F (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)

Civil War Lovers: It's just simple of Madeleine and Gregory writing letters to each other as she seems more civilized and he seems more rough which leads to the two breaking up over the course of the letters but also him getting shot and dying. C (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)

This show was awful and while Lawrence made the best of the bad sketch's she was given ultimately she deserves much better then what she had (she is a two time Oscar nominee throw her a bone). The best sketch was Richard And The Buffalo while the worst by far was Danielle: A Free European Woman. I feel bad for Lawrence because she is funny in real life but she was not given any sort of showcase.

EPISODE GRADE: C (MVP: Jennifer Lawrence)
