Don't expect much because little is provided in WARD SEX. Trailer cutely spells the title WARD SIX with the I crossed out and replaced by an E (trailer also has some irrelevant footage not featured in the film proper, seemingly from an alternate take).
This one makes Sherpix' hit of the time THE NURSES seem like an A-movie. We basically have a bunch of nurses who hump their patients. Adult movie houses needed sex pictures, wanted talkies, and this stick-to-the-basics was often the result.
Improvised dialog is a drawback, as in the opening scene where Adam Ward's roommate says to the nurse "Don't take any wooden cocks". Suzanne Fields is wasted as a nurse while busty favorite Alice Friedland gets her licks in as a patient's wife. Film in DVD version ends prematurely during the middle of a scene.
As usual a pirated muzak soundtrack features many familiar tunes: "Aquarius", "Hurts So Bad", "Tonight" from "West Side Story" and "The Girl from Ipanema".
