Despite hundreds of shots and explosions, only men's bodies are on the ground, no dead or wounded horses.

When Bartholomew Bogue is in Sacramento and the Seven are helping the townspeople prepare for battle, one shot shows them removing the Bogue banner from the outside of the mining office in town. In a subsequent scene, the banner is in place.
In a long shot of the damaged church bell tower, the reinstated bell is far above head height. In a tighter shot, the bell is much lower.
The kids are shown painting pinwheels red which are set out at measured distances so that explosives may be set off when Bogue's riders reach certain locations. But the men setting off the explosives are underground and not looking at the pinwheels when they are set off.
According to the distance of the Gatling gun, a slight change of its shooting angle will produce a large difference between the shots that hit the buildings. The machine gun is moved at a relatively large angle, but the shots hit the building within a distance of about 1 meter, which is physically incorrect and cannot be achieved according to the distance of the machine gun.
Red Harvest says, "White man's food looks like dog food" in Tlingit, but the translation doesn't match."Dleit shawáat" means white woman.
The Gatling Gun used by the attackers had a far less effective range than some of the rifles used by the defenders. Still, Bogue's men shoot up the defenders on the church tower with the Gatling, while appearing to be out of range of the Winchesters used by those defenders on the tower.
The Gatling gun is shown loaded with a single stick magazine (in the top) and is never reloaded. These each carried only 20 rounds of ammunition, yet the gun fires for an extended period, shooting several hundred rounds during the entire engagement.

The spent casings of the Gatling gun can be seen piling up by the shooters feet in a short close-up, however the casings are of blank ammunition with the crimped end clearly visible. Casings for live ammunition would look distinctly different.
Neither the Mohawk, Mahican, or Mohegan people wore their hair the way Red Harvest did; they wore a roughly 3in. x 3in. square of hair at the back of the head. The term Mohawk became popular after Drums Along the Mohawk (1939). The more correct term is a Roach hairstyle, and the tribes that wore it included the Caddo of east Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, and the Pawnee of Nebraska and Kansas. The Comanche ranged a large territory which included Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Red Harvest could have encountered Pawnee and Caddo in his travels and decided to adopt their hairstyle. Alternatively, Red Harvest might be half-Comanche, half-Pawnee; both tribes had branches in 19th century Kansas. A marriage between members of the same clan, even of different tribes, was considered illegitimate, and being born out of wedlock could explain his status as an outcast.
The Seven represent at least five different ethnic groups, and the film shows very little overt bigotry. Faraday says "Oh, good! We have a Mexican." The slur "redskin" is used only once. The racism Billy Rocks faced was implied in a story. Chisolm gets lots of push-back, but apparently not based on his race. Vasquez repeatedly calls Faraday "Güero." Faraday asks what it means, and receives no reply. It's a Mexican racial slur meaning "Whitey." The two former Confederates, Faraday and Robicheaux, and African American former Union soldier Chisholm would likely have at least some remaining animosity. A Mountain Man who has taken "300 Comanche scalps" would certainly be not be welcome by a Comanche. Everyone looked down on Asians in 1879. However, their mutual respect for each other as fighting men may go some way to explain the lack of racial tension.
By 1879, warfare and disease had reduced the Comanche people to fewer than 3,000 in West Texas, with a few hundred living with other tribes in Northern Mexico. They were also warlike and xenophobic, which made it difficult for them to deal with other Native tribes. It's not likely that Red Harvest would be so far from home or so welcome if he were. Red Harvest may have shed his tribe's xenophobia to survive as an outcast.
All of the actors have perfect looking teeth. Dentistry in 1879 was not on par with 21st century dentistry, but rotting teeth are rarely common in any era. They're a source of illness and pain and are removed when they cause problems. Like modern times, most people with missing teeth lost their molars first and their visible teeth later.
During the initial standoff between the Seven and Blackstones men, Japanese music is being played. This is a homage to the original 1954 film by Akira Kurosawa, The Seven Samurai.
At around 52 minutes a deputy has an obviously rubber shotgun.
Red Harvest rides into the town with a warning that Bogue and his men are on their way, and says they will be there around dawn.
The next day's scenes show shadows that indicate the Sun is already around 45 degrees up in the sky, making it long after dawn.
As the crew ride into the mining operation to score some dynamite, a 45-starred American flag is flying on a wooden pole. That configuration flew from 1896 (admission of Utah) to 1907 (admission of Oklahoma). In 1879 the flag would have had only 38 stars.
Bogue uses the word "capitalism," a term coined by Karl Marx and known in 1879 only to economic philosophers who could read German.

After Jack Horn takes care of them, Robicheaux quips, "the Pigeon Brothers weren't famous for long." The Pigeon Brothers never referred to themselves as "famous," creating the possibility that a take where they did refer to themselves as "famous" was made but not used in the final cut.
In the 1870s American West, no "respectable" woman would expose her upper torso, arms, or legs in public; supposedly, only prostitutes did that. No person with common sense would ride in the open sun with so much fair skin exposed. Emma's dresses at the beginning are far too low and revealing; plus, she isn't wearing a hat or bonnet, something women didn't leave the house without back then.
When Faraday tells the townspeople about Robicheaux's history, he says that he had "23 confirmed kills at Antietam." Both men were Confederates, so they would've called it Sharpsburg, not Antietam.
Red Harvest is supposed to be Comanche, but he sometimes speaks in Tlingit. Martin Sensmeier is a Native Alaskan, a member of the Tlingit people.
Robicheaux greets Emma with "mon cher" which means "my dear man." A native French speaker would have said "ma cheri."
After the initial major shoot up, four of the Seven claim 24 kills total (6, 6, 5, and 7). When Bogue hears the news in Sacramento, he says 22 of his men were lost. Faraday's claim of seven kills may have been an exaggeration.
