The One With First Week Of Marriage...
taylorkingston9 July 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoy this episode. You can tell it's on a different network, as this marks the first episode that was broadcast by TBS, as opposed to ABC, like it's previous three seasons. But it isn't so different that you think it's a brand new show. Nothing too big changes.

In this episode, Jules and Grayson are adjusting to being married, and Grayson makes the mistake of doing things for her, like pouring her coffee. Because Jules and Ellie believe that whatever happens in the first week of marriage, happens for the rest of their lives. For example, Andy didn't go number two in his house, and now he never has. Meanwhile, Travis just turned twenty-one, and Bobby is trying to give him some good fatherly advise. And Ellie and Laurie try to console an upset Jules, because Grayson won't apologize for what he did in her dream.

Title Card: Welcome BACK to Cougar Town Thanks. TBS. Can we curse on TV now?

Fun Fact: This is the first episode broadcast by TBS.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.

Cougar Town Blue Sunday

Warning: Spoilers
Cougar Town comes back with another meda opening. Finally wine drinking is back and they all seemed to have educated in their drinking. Jules and Grayson could not be happier with their new marriage and Jules is happy to have a coffee and wine guy. Laurie's army boyfriend is doing another tour abroad which makes her upset not to seem him more again. Travis has to listen to her problems even though after just sharing his love for her. Jules has a strange dream where Grayson flirts and Ellie is a lesbian with Laurie. Jules then goes into a depression and Grayson has to apologise for Jules strange dream. Jules once again visits her therapist who tells her to act positive about her depression. Laurie worries more about Wade while Jules continue to worry about her new married life to Grayson. We see Bobby and Andy running from their problems with Travis telling them not to. Ellie tells Grayson to treat Jules well and when Jules finds out Ellie told Grayson she was then punished for telling Grayson about her blues. Ellie then must hand over her protector status to Grayson because of him being her husband. Laurie continues to not be happy about Wade but this time Travis continues in his fathers footsteps by running away from awkward situations. After everything is forgiven everybody has a dance party in the house. We also get a quick cameo from academy award nominated Michelle Williams in a look ahead of the season. Great to have the show back and even though it moved to TBS nothing changed. WThe cast are great and I was laughing at almost everything which is why this was my favourite ABC comedy and could be my favourite comedy of the year.

EPISODE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Courtney Cox)

Much like other episodes of the show this is a hit/miss affair.

I'd like to like it more.
