I feel guilty, like I'm being so unforgivably generous with a 4 out of 10 rating. Whenever I hear people start bashing on wall street execs as the root of all evil, I know we've strayed into unintelligent hippy-think. Weak minded millennial writers love to jump on that "hate the banker" mentality for no other reason than that they really haven't done any research into the matter, but love to pretend they have and follow the hype.
So here we have our illustrious hero, with an IQ presumably way up there, who naturally hates bankers and naturally considers them the cause of any and all economic woes. Yet he never mentions politicians, or laws that expressly force bankers to make loans to individuals manifestly unable to pay back the loans for no other reason than than they ARE unable to pay them back...and then BLAME the bankers for it... Well, someone with such a lauded IQ would, in the real world, blame the politicians. But this story isn't about reality, intelligence, or common sense.
No thank you. I don't want to assault my brain cells or insult your intelligence by giving this episode anything less than a sub-standard review.
