At the beginning of the movie Tim says that he is 67 years old. The next scene while they are standing in Dunkin' Donuts it clearly states that a year has passed. As the three men are walking through the airport to board their plane Tim says he is 67 when he should be 68.
When Vince Vaughan is leaving the railway station there is a tear on the right shoulder at the back of his suit, in the next scene there is an emergency repair and the suit is in one piece.
Although "Flügelschlagen" is an actual German word it does not make any sense the way it is used throughout the movie. It's nonsense and becomes a running gag after that. Translated back to English it means "flapping wings", i.e. what birds do to fly. Only at the end of the movie, where Dan tries to explain it to his wife, it fits pretty well into the context of his words of wisdom.

During the demonstration the banners show "Welcome to Berlin 2014 Annual Diplomatic Summit." That has nothing to do with the G8 summit, which, by the way in 2014 happened to be in Sochi, Russia. The last G8 in Germany was in 2007 in Heiligendamm far away from Berlin.
