After watching William the Magnificent, I was thrown into a story which intrigued me. My favorite genre of movie is one with a little mystery and otherworldly characters that touches on the everyday fantasies that we have as human beings. The actors put in very believable work, and the story left me wanting to know more about their arcs. I thought the directing enhanced the story line, and the transition from scenes were very smooth. The sets in which the short was filmed also inspired me. I most enjoyed the scenes in the Grand Theatre. The set along with the immaculate wardrobe made me a believer of William's magic. I enjoyed this short film very much and hope to see more from the talented people who created it. I would sum this short up as a bit of fantasy, with a spark of magic.

Loved the very rich costumes and well chosen authentic locations. Together they masterfully transported the viewer to a different era . The casts fluid collaboration enabled the viewer to get lost in the plot to watch unexpected twists and turns unfold before you. The special effects were epic !!!! The theater itself lent a dramatic backdrop for William The Magnificent's performances and his subsequent inevitable demise . Am always one to root for the under dog and therefore found it heartwarming to watch the least likely candidate in the cast to prevail in the end. Bravo ........ Hope there is more to come from this masterful director ......
