Some events in the film are based loosely on experiences of Executive Producer J Spencer, as a model photographer. J was also a police officer & serves as a Reserve Deputy at the time of production. The police & fire medic vehicle are one vehicle, a former Pennsylvania State Trooper SUV J purchased to use in various feature & short films. A conversation with the real Nicole Summer about men treating her inappropriately over her modeling inspired J to go forward & make the film.
Mayor Loretta Lee is named in honor of Huntsville, AL three term former Mayor Loretta Lee Purdy Spencer, Mother of the Executive Producer. Trey Walker is "Trey" in honor of a high school friend, killed in Operation Desert Storm, Trey Wilburn. The Main characters Mary & Nicole are named for model friends of the Executive Producer. Hank the Fire Marshall is named for a long time friend Captain Hank Smith Huntsville Fire Dept Ret. & Passed away from Lukemia.
Executive Producer J Spencer is a life long resident of Huntsville, AL home of US Space & Rocket Center / SPACE CAMP & the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center where the U.S. Space program developed the Mercury-Redstone Rocket & the Saturn V moon rocket. J vacationed in Gulf Shores as a teen, coming to love the area. Sadly, the Mobile Bay civil war fort, Fort Morgan was dealing with hurricane damage and was not allowed as a filming location, as planned. The opening scene in the house under construction was to be in a moat like area of the fort, discovering "Shelby Ford" in a fort tunnel.
