- When Rita awakens unexpectedly aged, a mishandled spell turns the Doom Patrol into teenagers, just as Willoughby asks for their help to stop Immortus - and the end of the world.
- Rita tries to find a way to restore her longevity taken by Janus, and unleashes a spell that deages her, her teammates, and Willoughby. The spell is a curse, and won't stop deaging them until they've become something, so they race across the clock to find Willoughby's old mentor who can undo the curse.—Gislef
- At the mansion, Larry sits on his bed, meditating. He has mental visions of a cabin in the woods, and gets up and goes.
Vic sits in the hallway outside Rita's room and looks at the robot that he and his friends made as part of their robot club in high school. Larry comes up and Vic tells him that Rita is still asleep, and asks if Larry needs backup. Larry tells Vic that he can handle it, and asks Vic to give him a hug for Rita if she wakes up while he's gone. Vic tells him to concentrate on getting Keeg, and Larry goes.
In her room, Jane smokes marijuana and listens to a record, then lies on her bed, looks at one of the jigsaw pieces, and starts to masturbate. She finds herself in the Underground, with some of the other personas there. Jane complains about them bringing her there, then admits that what she was doing was wrong and dangerous, until one of them says that none of them brought Jane there and she showed up on her own. Jane insists that she was doing nothing, and refastens her pants, and leaves.
In the garage, Cliff works on the car he found while Rogue looks on, and he gets it going. Cliff thanks Rogue for helping him bring it back, and hopes the car gives him many hours to lose himself in. The radio starts up and Willoughby appears in the back seat, and he says that Immortus is rising and it all leads back to the Patrol. Willoughby tells them to gather the owners so he doesn't have to repeat himself.
Rita wakes up and discovers that she's aged since she passed out.
Larry walks through the woods until he finds the cabin. He tells Keeg that he can feel him and he's coming, and has mental flashes of 104 in a chamber. Staggered, Larry keeps going a few steps and then collapses. 104 walks up to him.
In the mansion kitchen, Willoughby pours himself a cup of coffee while Rogue, Cliff, and Vic look on. Jane comes in to join them, and Willoughby tells them that something big and dangerous is heading their way. The Patrol isn't impressed, even when Willoughby says that it's something worse than anything they've ever faced before. Willoughby tells them that he thought Immortus was a forgotten god, but it's real and it's coming. The butts were nothing in comparison.
Rogue remembers the Immortus Project from the Bureau of Normalcy, and it was the pursuit of immortality but it never amounted to anything. Willoughby tells them Niles had a piece of Immortus, and that's why Willoughby came there. Jane and Cliff were the results of the Project, along with Rita and Larry. A piece of Immortus was procured and passed through many hands, and Nobody eventually procured it. Niles shot Nobody and procured the piece. He shaved off small pieces of it and used the pieces to create the Patrol and give them longevity. The only thing stolen from Horst Eismann's collection a few weeks ago was the necklace, and Willoughby figures whoever is working for Immortus now wants the other pieces.
Willoughby says that the pieces of them can be extracted, but as long as they don't lose their longevity, Immortus cannot rise. The Patrol wonder if Rita went through in her movie retrospective extracted Rita's longevity, and Willoughby confirms that they're right.
Rita looks through Niles' things and finally locates a coffer beneath a floorboard. It's labeled "Experimental", "Dangerous", and Untested". In it are a number of vials. Rita takes one and walks out, and Cliff comes in, startling her into dropping the vial. It breaks, releasing gas, and Willoughby, Jane, Vic, and Rouge come in as the fumes envelop them. When the fumes clear, their clothing has all changed except Rogue's. Rita figures that the gas worked, and Willoughby says that it was a deaging spell. Jane points out they physically haven't changed, and Willoughby notes that it's not a very good deaging spell. He reveals that he's now "follically gifted", and Rouge explains that she held her breath so she didn't inhale the fumes. Willoughby checks the vial's label and confirms that it's a Khepri hex, and it's bad.
Larry finds himself in one of the chambers at the base where the government confined him in when he returned to Earth. Government agents questioning 104, who says that his name is Rama, but he also goes by the name 104. He relates his early life and the interrogating agent asks if he believes the information to be true. Rama says that he does, and the agent has Janus bring three subjects in. The agent tells Rama to begin with air augmentation, and they're all in service of freedom and the nation's freedom is paramount. One of the subjects points a gun at Rama, and he extends one hand.
Janus and the subjects collapse, choking, as Rama pulls water out of the air. Once they're down, he releases the water particles, and the agent says the experiment is complete and tells Rama that will be all.
Larry wakes up in a cabin and finds Rama on the floor across from him. Rama greets Larry and Keeg glows in Rama's chest. When Larry runs to Keeg, Rama motions and knocks Larry back against the opposite wall. Larry begs Rama to let Keeg go, and Rama says that he's not doing it on purpose. Keeg won't leave him no matter what, and a blast of energy shoots out of Rama, bounces off of Larry, and reenters Rama's body as Larry collapses.
Willoughby tries to cast a location spell but can't make it work. Rita doesn't see the problem with them staying young, and Willoughby tells them that the spell was a curse and they'll keep deaging before the point of birth and before. He says that he only trust his old mentor, Ms. April, to help and he's trying to find her teleporting tea room. Willoughby manages to locate the tea room on a map, in Toledo, and tells Cliff to drive them there as fast as he can.
Larry wakes up in a protective suit, strapped to a chair, at the Bureau. Rama appears in the room, while the head agent welcome Larry back and has the subjects enter the room. Larry begs them to let him out.
Cliff pulls over at a station for gas, and most of them go in to get food while Vic pumps gas. Cliff asks Jane if they'd be friends if they were in high school together, and she says that she wasn't around and skipped high school. They see students smoking weed behind the station, and Jane goes over and asks if she can have a hit. Everyone introduces themselves, and the teenagers want Jane and Cliff to buy them some alcohol. Cliff and Jane agree.
Rita and Rogue go into the station restroom, and find a stall that they'll have to use one at a time. Rogue wants to talk about team leadership, but Rita doesn't want to and figures it will all be over when they get to the tea room. Rogue points out that Niles sent almost a century searching for longevity and didn't succeed, and it probably isn't as easy as finding Ms. April. Coming out of the steal, Rogue discovers that Rita has left.
Rita goes past the car and Rogue follows her. The teenagers come over to the car with Cliff and Jane, and Cliff says that their new BFFs-Charlie, Jeremy, and Winona-have told them about a party nearby. Willoughby reminds them they're on a mission, and Vic and the others call him a square and a virgin. He finally gives in and says they can go for five minutes.
In Larry's flashback, the subjects remove his protective suit and then die from the radiation. Rama turns his skin to lead and reassures Larry that he can't hurt him. They reappear unconscious in the cabin, laying on the floor, outstretched hands touching.
The Patrol and the teens go to the party at the local high school swimming pool, and Cliff starts dancing. Jane and Charlie tell Vic to loosen up, and he proves he's loosened up by taking off his shirt and shoes and cannonballing into the water. Everyone dances and chugs beer, and Willoughby loosens up.
Vic finally gets out of the pool and sits on the edge next to Jane, and figures they should be going. Jane offers Vic some of Willoughby's weed, and when Vic does he coughs. She says that he's a nerd, and Vic asks what she was like. Jane doesn't know and figures it was her first time as a teenager since she came from Miranda and then Kay. She admits that she doesn't want to stop being a teenager, and Vic imagines seeing Deric at the party and tells Jane that being a teenager is sometimes simple and pure. like friendship and the friends he went to see. Vic figures he left it too long, and Jane says that if she had a connection like that she's do anything to get it back. Jane wonders who is going to save them, when they're busy saving the world. Vic thanks her for the advice and goes.
Jane takes another hit and blows the smoke out in a cloud over the pool. It forms into a multi-colored thundercloud and rains floes of ice into the pool. Jane steps onto the floes one at a time, crossing the pool. and sees Kay sitting on an ice floe ahead of her. Kay is scooping water out of the ice, letting it form into ice, and then each piece of ice hovers in the air. Jane apologizes to Kay, admitting she fucked up and she shouldn't be treating the body like it's hers. Kay ignores Jane, who kneels down and says the body isn't hers but has always been Kay's. Kay looks at Jane for the first time, and says that it's their body. Jane smiles as the party goers appear, and she finds herself back sitting on the side of the pool.
Jane looks over and sees a now-young Willoughby smoking pot. Jane becomes young as well.
Rogue follows Rita to a bus terminal, and sits down on a bench with the now much-younger woman. The other woman says that the spell worked on her, but she has a horrible time as a teenager so used her shapeshifting to remain looking like an adult. Rita tells Rogue that she's such a control freak, and wishes she had Rogue's power so she could become anyone, disappear, and no one would find her. Rogue talks about how when she first gained her powers as a teenager, they stopped her from making a meaningful connection with anyone. Rita points out that when she was alone, Rogue was the one person who made her feel okay, and she misses that and Rogue. She says that now things are different: Rogue hurt her and she's never had her best friend back, Rogue tells Rita that she misses her as well, and is sorry for hurting her, and Malcolm, and the Sisterhood. She breaks into tears, saying that she doesn't deserve forgiveness, and never will.
Rogue loses control of her shapeshifting and reverts to a teenager. Rita hugs her and Rogue hugs her back.
Jeremy is pouring beer into Cliff's robot body, and the young Jane and Willoughby come up and tell him that they have go now. He tells them to leave him alone, and he's weird. Jane swears at him, and Cliff tells everyone that it's cool and they should take the party to a new location. Everyone cheers, and Jane angrily asks if he's going to choose a bunch of drunk teenagers over his actual friends. Cliff tell him that all they want him to do is punch things, and didn't ask him if he's okay when clearly he's not. He walks off and the partygoers follow him, and Willoughby wonders where Vic is.
Deric answers the knock at his door and finds a young Vic there. Vic tells his friend who he is and hugs him.
Larry wakes up and finds Rama awake and looking at him. Rama says that he joined Janus to stop suffering, and is trying to reverse his condition. There are misfires from the changing elemental compositions, and they're taking their toll. One day his body might go out of control, causing a mass-extinction event, and only Immortus can stop it. Immortus will only do so if Rama keeps his pledge and returns their longevity. Larry asks Rama to let him help him, and there has to be a way to do it without pledges or violence. After a moment, they take each other's hands, and introduce themselves. There's a burst of energy, and then Keeg jumps from Rama back to Larry. Both men chuckle, and Larry figures that uniting them was Keeg's plan all along. There is a snipping noise, and a hole opens in reality. Larry falls backward into it, and Rama jumps in after him before the hole closes.
Jane and Willoughby go outside the school, and Willoughby complains that he can't die as sperm. The Templars appear and the leader says that they're to rescue Willoughby. They let Bunbury out, and the hamster says that he's not negotiating so Willoughby shouldn't try his patience. Willoughby walks over to Bunbury, and the hamster casts a spell that reverts Willoughby to an adult. The Templar takes Bunbury over to Jane. She turns and runs, but becomes a baby and falls on the pavement.
The Templar puts Bunbury next to Baby Jane, and Willoughby tells Bunbury to take what it needs and be done with it. Bunbury tells Willoughby to be silent, then drains magical energy out of Jane.
