"Shots 1.2" tells the story of a young artistic couple that is caught somewhere between being unfaithful and sacrificing for the other one. When the girl thinks that she has murdered a homeless man, events begin to take a serious turn.
The film looks as if it was produced much earlier than 2011. From all the looks and outfits I would have thought that it played sometime in the early 2000s. It has a highly artsy touch and underlines the rather easy plot with pseudo-deep dialogues and much drama. Included are characters like the bad ass-literature guy that keeps a gun in his house and is guarded by mobsters and the homeless that teaches young girls about life and magically makes them undress. When the later is shot, the actual film story-line begins, unfortunately that's already deep into the movie. In my opinion, the actual plot could have been a nice starting point for a film, but the producers sacrificed this possibility for the sake of creating art.
All in all there will be people who like this as a "different" movie but I have to say that I'm a fan of them as well and I didn't quite enjoy this one. However, if you find the plot-line appealing you should probably judge for yourself.
