The stronger run of episodes continues with this sixth episode of the second season.
Things get back to normal onboard ship, with Captain Clark (Hugh Laurie) now reinstalled as the ship's genuine commander. This time though, his leadership takes the form of a cult of personality, with Iris (Suzy Nakamura) as his enforcer and confident and Matt (Zach Woods) as a philosophical and sometimes just physical opponent. The ship discovers a lithium rich asteroid, which can be used as a bargaining point with Earth, unfortunately though it's Judd (Josh Gad) that's doing the negotiation.
Again, funnier stuff as Clark becomes an unwitting dictator, desperately trying to keep the piece whilst all around him are looking to quell rebellion. The high point is probably the costume party, where, due to fear of reprisal, most of the passengers dress as Clark, whilst the main cast dress as each other.
After the pretty poor start to this season, the shows upturn in form continues here.
