- On moving to Korea, Sarah (Lindsey Higgins) is emotionally destroyed when her fiancé dumps her in a long distance relationship. She finds solace in the company of a young, strange, Korean man, Jung (Minwoo Nam), who has a mysterious secret.—Raoul Dyssell
- Sarah (Lindsey Higgins) is an American woman who moves to Korea to spend a year abroad teaching English, confident that her relationship with her fiance will survive the distance and that on her return their love would have grown stronger. One day she rides the subway and catches the eye of a strange Korean man (Minwoo Nam) who requests to take her picture. She obliges, but when she asks to see it, he simply turns around and gets off at his stop. On that same cold night her fiance, Brian, calls off the engagement and breaks up with her over a Skype call. Sarah is emotionally destroyed.
Depressed at her work and unable to go home, she walks into a random cafe. After sitting down for a while, she notices her portrait on the wall and immediately asks the cafe owner how he acquired it. He tells her that the photographer works there. She impulsively approaches the counter and is suddenly and strangely attracted to this odd Korean man, Jung, whom she gives her number to. The two of them embark on what begins as an almost surreal friendship. Sarah seems to forget her troubles in the comfort of this new-found friendship. However, there are forces at play that intend to destroy their special relationship, and all the while, Jung has a secret that comes as a sudden shock to Sarah when revealed to her under harsh circumstances.
