Scream queen DeeDee Bigelow - whose credits include Machete Betty, Violent Blue and upcoming movies Legend of the Red Reaper, Spreading Darkness, The Road Killer and Scarlet Samurai: Incarnation - has netted a new role and a change of genre.
DeeDee will appear in Animal Planet's adventure show Hillbilly Handfishin' on August 30.
On the show, she will compete with several others in the sport of noodling, which is catching catfish using only the bare hands and feet.
Bigelow will appear in Season 2 of the show, in the episode Luck of the Irish.
This episode features three pairs of people, from different walks of life, who take a shot at fishing in the Red River of Oklahoma. Bigelow is no stranger to physical roles, but the catfish in this river bite back.
Two early stills have been released from this episode. The first shows Bigelow behind the scenes in makeup.

You may not know Sean Wyn’s name right now, but I have no doubt you’ll be dropping his name before too long. In addition to helping out with Tara Cardinal’s “The Legend of the Red Reaper,” Wyn is associated with “Spreading Darkness” and “Scarlet Samurai: Incarnation.” The guy has talent to spare, and it’s only a matter of time before everyone else discovers what his peers have known for quite some time: Sean Wyn is awesome. Although he’s staying very busy making a name for himself in the indie film scene, he took some time out of his schedule to answer a handful of questions I tossed his way. So sit back, relax, and get to know fight choreographer and stunt coordinator Sean Wyn. — For starters, tell me a little bit about yourself. How did you get involved with film? My father had worked at...

Because FedEx will totally demagnetize all your footage and not reimburse you for your work or the irreplaceable footage.
Terminal Descent is a film we've covered on the Pf recently, so were were horrified to find out that the raw footage of the film has actually been destroyed by the magnetization process that FedEx uses to scan their packages.
Can you imagine putting god only knows how much money and how much time into making an independent film, and having FedEx fuck it all up for you in one fell swoop?
Filmmaker and actress Tara Cardinal was set to receive a package containing the magnetized digital film tapes for the sci-fi flick Terminal Descent in August 2012. Two weeks later, on her Facebook page, Tara Cardinal wrote,

Word around the campfire is that director David R. Williams’ upcoming horror flick “Terminal Descent” was shot in just three days. That’s pretty amazing. For a movie that was lensed in 72 hours, it honestly doesn’t look that bad. Of course, it always helps when you have an actress like Tara Cardinal on your side. Regardless of how the movie plays out, Cardinal always seems to give it her all. Although there isn’t a whole lot of information about the flick currently floating around at the moment, we do know that the story involves a group of urban explorers and their encounter with some blood-thirsty creatures inside the abandoned Buffalo Central Terminal. According to the date stamped on the picture’s IMDb page, it would appear that “Terminal Descent” isn’t scheduled to see the light of day until sometime next year. I suppose we’ll have to wait.

We just got hold of the trailer and some production stills from Terminal Descent, a new horror flick starring the tough and talented Tara Cardinal, and all I can say is: See what happens when you don't pay attention to "No Trespassing" signs?
Directed by David R. Williams and starring Cardinal, Alicen Holden, Justin Irwin and Patricia M. Dunn, Terminal Descent focuses on a group of urban exploration enthusiasts (aka curious young thrill seekers who should pay more attention to "No Trespassing" signs) that get in over their head when they explore a mammoth abandoned train station and discover it to be the resting place of some very nasty, very hungry creatures.
Cardinal is one of the hardest working and, thanks to her glorious red tresses, most identifiable actresses on today's indie horror scene, yet she's almost unrecognizable here. As Ikari, the group's leader, Cardinal displays her usual commanding presence,...
