- Daphne Sullivan: You don't have to know everything to love someone. A little mystery? It's kinda sexy.
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: Listen, Portia, I know you really like him, but... the other night I was walking around the villa and... well, I saw Jack and his uncle and, you know, they were like -- they were, like, naked and stuff like that.
- Portia: They were naked? Doing what?
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: Well... he was kinda fucking his uncle.
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: You know, there aren't enough people out there that are worried about old buildings.
- [Tanya approaches Quentin, who is bleeding out on the floor from a gunshot wound]
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: Is Greg having an affair?
- [Quentin groans]
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: Tell me, I know you know. I... Tell me!
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: They're going to do Greg's dirty work for him because he's gonna pay them with my money so they can decorate their houses or some shit.
- [Ethan has just told Daphne he thinks something happened between Cameron and Harper. After he tells her this, Daphne briefly mulls over the situation, her demeanor going into a troubled state at first, but ending in an air of unflappability]
- Daphne Sullivan: [to Ethan] I don't think you have anything to worry about.
- [Ethan gives a confused look]
- Daphne Sullivan: I mean, we never really know what goes on in people's minds or what they do, right? You spend every second with somebody and there's still this part that's a mystery. You know? You don't have to know everything to love someone. A little mystery? It's kinda sexy.
- [Ethan cracks a smile]
- Daphne Sullivan: I'm a mystery to myself. Honestly, I surprise myself all the time. I think you just... you just... do whatever you have to do not to feel like a victim of life. You know? Just use your imagination.
- Daphne Sullivan: He threw a yogurt at his assistant's face.
- Cameron Sullivan: He got fired 'cause he threw a yogurt? Jesus.
- Daphne Sullivan: Yes. You can't throw a yogurt at someone's face.
- Cameron Sullivan: It's his assistant. Who cares?
- Cameron Sullivan: When did the world become run by nuns? I mean, you're not even supposed to succeed anymore, right? 'Cause if you succeed, oh shit, you might make someone else feel bad. You might cause harm to all the sad losers in the world.
- Harper Spiller: You're an idiot.
- [Portia approaches Albie in the airport. Both their respective flings-Albie with Lucia and Portia with Jack-have not worked out for them]
- Portia: [to Albie] Hey.
- Albie Di Grasso: [surprised] Portia?
- Portia: Hi.
- [chuckles]
- Albie Di Grasso: Hey.
- Portia: Uh, where's your, uh, dad and grandfather?
- Albie Di Grasso: Oh, they're just over there.
- [motions to seating area]
- Albie Di Grasso: Yeah. Where's your boss?
- Portia: She's not answering her phone right now.
- Albie Di Grasso: Oh, did you hear that one of the guests drowned at the hotel?
- Portia: [gravely] Do you know who?
- Albie Di Grasso: No, it was crazy. They found a bunch of dead bodies on a yacht, too.
- [long silence as Portia looks downcast]
- Albie Di Grasso: How was Palermo?
- Portia: Not great.
- Albie Di Grasso: And what about the guy?
- Portia: He's deranged.
- Albie Di Grasso: Oh.
- Portia: Yeah. And what about the girl, you know, that...
- Albie Di Grasso: Oh, yeah. She played me.
- Portia: [softly] Oh.
- Albie Di Grasso: So..uh...
- Portia: Can I get your number?
- Albie Di Grasso: Yeah. Sure.
- Portia: Oh, cool. You could just put it in.
- [they exchange phones]
- Portia: Yeah, and give me yours.
- [chuckles]
- Albie Di Grasso: Yeah.
- [chuckles]
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: [speaking frantically to the boat skipper] I know it sounds crazy, but my husband, he knows Quentin. See, he brought me to Sicily and then he left, so he could have an alibi. And then these gays, they take me off to Palermo and then they set me up with this guy who's in the mafia and he's coming here I... I think to try to throw me off the boat. They're going to do Greg's dirty work for him because he's gonna pay them with my money so they can decorate their houses or some shit. I may... may be paranoid, but I need you to drive me in the boat, drive the boat to the shore. Please? These gays, they're trying to murder me!
- Dominic Di Grasso: You're just gonna go through life trying to rescue every desperate girl you come across?
- Albie Di Grasso: Maybe. Yeah.
- Dominic Di Grasso: Well, good luck with that. Don't expect me to subsidize.
- Albie Di Grasso: Think of it as a karmic payment.
- Dominic Di Grasso: A karmic payment?
- Albie Di Grasso: Yeah.
- Dominic Di Grasso: For what?
- Albie Di Grasso: For all the shit you've done.
- Portia: Why did we stop? Jack? Jack? Where are we? I thought you said you were gonna take me back to Taormina.
- Jack: We're not going to Taormina.
- Portia: Huh?
- Jack: This is Catania. The airport is just that way. Do you want my advice? Don't go to the hotel. Don't wait around. Just get on your flight tomorrow, get the fuck out of Sicily. All right? These people are powerful. You don't wanna fuck with 'em. Look, I know you're smart, all right? Smarter than me. So... just don't be stupid.
- Giuseppe: What is she doing here?
- Valentina: Um... She replaced you while you were in the hospital.
- Giuseppe: Eh. Well now I'm out and healed, make her go away.
- Valentina: Now Giuseppe... Mm... No I can't because...
- Giuseppe: Hmm?
- Valentina: I gave her the job. Meaning from this moment on... Mia will be our pianist.
- Giuseppe: Huh?
- Valentina: Eh. It's the guests! The guests prefer her to you. I'm sorry Giuseppe. It's meritocracy. You're fired.
- Giuseppe: Huh? Fired? You can't fire me.
- Valentina: I can fire you because I'm the director.
- Giuseppe: This is a conspiracy. First you try to kill me... and now you take my place?
- Valentina: Don't make me call security.
- Portia: Can you just cut the shit, like, have I been kidnapped or what's... what's going on?
- Jack: What? What are you on about? No.
- Portia: Like, I... I know you stole my phone, so...
- Jack: Are you mental?
- Portia: Please, can you just tell me the truth? I know you've been lying to me and I know Quentin isn't your uncle.
- Jack: Wh... Yes, he is. Wh... I...
- Portia: Yeah? So you fuck your uncle?
- Jack: Wha... Fu... Well, I was gonna show you around the island, but... I'm not really in the mood now. Guess I'll just drive you back.
- Portia: I can just... I can just get a cab.
- Jack: It takes a couple of hours. You can't afford a cab. Anyway, me uncle made me promise to drive ya. You don't want me to get in trouble now, do ya? Just let me do me job. Yeah?
- Portia: How am I your job? Like, you've just been, like, assigned to me this...
- Jack: Oi! Just leave it alone. Yeah?
- Didier: It's a wonderful thing to make a... A new friend so late in life.
- Tanya McQuoid-Hunt: Late in life?
- Didier: It's... it's a French saying. 'Tard dans la vie.'
