After season one I thought this would be better left as a miniseries but 5 episodes in now and I'm actually enjoying season 2 more than the first, it's more of the same as s1 meaning you'll have to watch the whole season to fully enjoy the show and unravel the mystery. I love how it's a whodunnit but for most of the season, you're really just watching the lives of intertwined couples and families at a resort and waiting to see how it all comes together, this time around in Italy not Maui. Pretty good idea for the show to have it as an anthology series, with Jennifer Coolidge as the string that connects the two seasons even though she's not my favorite character but arguably the more interesting ones. Amazing new cast additions, most notably Aubrey Plaza but the rest are great too.
I'm a sucker for love stories so I'm really invested in all the entanglements that I forget it's a murder-mystery and almost spits in the face of others in the genre because it doesn't focus on murder for the most part even though all roads lead down that way. It's less so of the second season, but one of the shows best quality is it's relatable and not in the sense of you have a connection with these characters but more like you know or have known someone like them in your life. I love how even with all the drama the show immerses you in it still has time to be funny. And of course, the least you could ask from a mystery series, the plot twists and turns are exceedingly shocking. Definitely worth watching.
