- When teenager Leon Foster is found shot in the head the immediate assumption is that he was the victim of a gangland feud. However Janet, relegated to paper-work by a sour Andy, hears that he was involved in an under age sex party, leading her and Rachel to interview two girls from very different backgrounds. Andy eventually makes his peace with Janet, who discovers husband Adrian's good points whilst a reluctant Rachel, pushed into it by Sean, agrees to meet her estranged mother.—don @ minifie-1
- The police investigate the shooting death of 18 year-old Leon Foster who was also sexually mutilated. The initial assessment suggests a gang killing but the gun was left at the scene but not the knife. Foster had been at a party a month before where a 16 year-old girl was forced to perform oral sex on a group of boys. Jealousy and anger is at the root of it all. Meanwhile, Rachel is surprised when Sean tells her he recently saw her mother and she would like to see her. Rachel has been estranged from her mother since she walked out on them when Rachel was 12 years old. She now feels trapped into seeing her again. Andy meanwhile has Janet doing paperwork and it leads to a major blow-up in front of the squad.—garykmcd
