- When killer Geoff Hastings offers to reveal the identities of other of his victims he has only one requirement: that Janet be the interviewing officer. Hastings is the man who stabbed her but she and her superiors agree to the request. It doesn't go well at first, with Hastings very much in control. Rachel Bailey meanwhile investigates the murder of a young Asian cab driver who was shot and killed by one of his customers. It has all the appearance of a racially motivated killing. Rachel is also unsure about her relationship with Sean who has repeatedly proposed and has even booked the day - but Rachel hasn't yet accepted. After a night out drinking with Janet, a drunken Rachel comes up with a sure way to take control of the Hastings interview.—garykmcd
