When Joel is sitting down on a rock eating canned food, a quiver full of arrows is next to him. However in the following cut, the orientation of the arrows as they sit in the quiver changes.
Cap's ship was Australian, not British. Cap tells Joel that he served in the Royal Australian Navy ship "HMS Brisbane". If it was an Australian ship it would have been "HMAS Brisbane", of which there have been several.
Joel's crossbow string pulls back way too easy for the bolts to have enough velocity to do any damage against the monsters.
Putting aside the fact that Boy is a mammal and has evaded all cold-blooded mutants ever since his owner got caught, how did Boy survive by himself without any edible food (dogs are carnivores)? One might think the only way this is possible is if Boy's owner died in the past few days, which would be a huge plot convenience
However, it's reasonable to think Boy could survive on his own after noting there are scenes where Boy is not only successfully hunting his own food, but even offering it to Joel.

At 1h 07m 58s, Joel pulled the trigger on his grenade.
At 1h 08m 6s, the grenade exploded.
The difference is a painfully slow 8 seconds, completely ignoring the "count to 5" warning by Winnow. If it adhered to the 5 second rule, the grenade should have blown Joel to bits before the sand-gobbler even emerged from the ground.
But if you consider that the "count to 5" rule was allowing for approximately 5 seconds before throwing the grenade (which one would want to do at least a few seconds before it exploded) and the last 4-5 seconds of this scene are in slow motion, the timing of the explosion is reasonable.

When Joel and Aimee are talking via two way radio communication, they're talking uninterrupted, as if they were on telephones. This is not possible with two way radios, whichever one is speaking has to key their microphone, and they can't hear the other person, while they have their mic keyed.
In a filthy, dangerous, post-apocalyptic world, Aimee, Anna and Dana all still keep their armpits clean shaven.
Joel plugs the amateur radio into Mav1s for power, but never connects any kind of an antenna.
At 1h 07m 44s, it is clearly seen that the sand-gobbler is 15-20 metres away from Joel & Boy. Yet, it took the sand-gobbler a mind-boggling 23 seconds to jump out of the sand to reach Joel by the lake. This speed is much slower than the speed shown when Joel threw the rubber hotdog to distract the sand-gobbler earlier.
The sand-gobbler should have sensed Boy chasing after the red dress by the lake too.

Joel seemingly never retrieves his arrows.
The entrance to the underground bunker is clearly too small to get Gertie the cow into the bunker.
When Joel first wakes up in Aimee's camp, they talk about Joel's journey. At one point Joel says "honestly it wasn't that bad" while his lips visibly aren't moving.
