A quite intense epxerience
Rodrigo_Amaro29 October 2023
A very intense and thrilling short film about a newly elected MP (Dan Stevens) who accidentally runs over a girl, hiding her body in the woods where he was travelling and in another accidental moment end up meeting the girl's mother (Emily Bruni) who's desperatly searching for her. What will the man do? Risk his promising political career and tell the truth or try to conceal his acts in twisted ways and possibilities?

Even though audiences are just seeing the actions rather than being part of it, the acting by Stevens was so intense and breathtaking that for a while you feel you're in this man's shoes. He brings you closer to the action and his personal dilemma that just happened, trying to act out in the best possible way. The title "Shallow" is a great one that reveals not only the man's action as what he did with the girl, but also as him as a person, just your typical politician trying to show his best facade when in reality he could commit an act of murder and hide it.

I was in full suspense through the whole experience and when it ended I just couldn't let go of the feeling of everything that happened. It was really good. 8/10.

16 minutes! Really?

Paid 2.99 for 16 minute movie? Really? I saw that but figured it was a typo by the company! Jeez, I enjoyed the "short" but was so looking forward to the "rest" of the movie! I am so dissappointed that the company would even charge me to watch this farce!
