- Pops threatens to fire Benson if he does not stop yelling at Mordecai and Rigby.
- When Pops' activities are repeatedly interrupted by Benson yelling at Mordecai and Rigby, Pops has a talk with Benson. Pops orders Benson to stop yelling at Mordecai and Rigby because it is harmful to morale. Benson reluctantly agrees to stop yelling. However, upon being sprayed with a hose by Mordecai and Rigby, Benson yells at the two. In response, Pops gives Benson a verbal warning.
After the verbal warning, Benson uses a computer to search for anger management techniques. One method retails reciting a mantra ('OMM'). When the computer lags as Benson tries to close it, he tries the 'OMM' method, with brief success. However, when he sees that Mordecai and Rigby made a terrible mess in the living room, Benson screams at the two again, to which Pops responds by giving Benson a write-up. When Pops threatens to fire Benson if he yells again, the latter tries counting to 100 (on Skips' advice). Unfortunately, as Benson nears the count of 80, he sees Mordecai and Rigby ram their paint-covered bodies onto a shed, to his great annoyance. When they notice that Benson is counting to 100, they count along with him for fun, further irritating him. In order to avoid yelling, Benson purchases an anger management tape. However, while listening to the tape in his apartment, he is inadvertently reminded that his parents raised him to yell for his needs. In response, Benson destroys the tape and throws a chair out of his window while trying not to yell.
After this outburst, Benson is literally red-hot with repressed anger. He then sees Mordecai and Rigby crash the cart into a tree. This time, however, Benson does not yell at them. As a result, his pent-up rage forms a giant gravitational orb around him and gradually disintegrates the park. Pops and Skips soon notice this, and the latter tells Mordecai and Rigby that they have to get Benson to yell at them. However, this fails, so Mordecai tells Pops that he needs to tell Benson it is okay to yell. Pops reluctantly does so, and Benson unleashes a long tirade of fury onto Mordecai and Rigby. After this, Benson's giant orb of anger explodes, wrecking the entire park.
After the explosion, the park workers are relieved to see that Benson is unharmed. Pops admits that he was wrong to order Benson not to yell, and the two shake hands. Benson then calmly tells Mordecai and Rigby to clean up the park, or they're fired. However, as the episode ends, a new problem arises: The two are deaf from Benson's tirade of anger.
