Great Insight

This documentary really humanizes Nicholas Winding Refn and gives you a peak into his real life. I loved it. It shows you a different side of him that you can easily relate to and just does an amazing job at peeling away the veneer of a "film director." He's a normal human being like all of us and he's very sympathetic especially when trying to learn Muay Thai. He just happens to also be a very talented director too and I think a real artist but I love insights like this into famous directors. For what it's worth, I did also like Only God Forgives. It's unique. It's not what people wanted after Drive but I think you also have to look at it on its own terms.
