When Jane acquires magical abilities via a black-market organ transplant, she can command anyone to do her bidding. Suddenly, her stagnant writing career gets the attention of hotshot agents and her sex life is on fire. Finally, Jane feels like she has the life she deserves: maximum fun and total adoration. So when she finds her ethics questioned by a support group of people with powers like her, she ditches those squares-she doesn't need that kind of negativity. But without any guidance, the consequence of her every command threatens to turn this fairy tale into a curse. When she finds herself spiraling out of control, Jane will have to reinvent herself anew or self-destruct spectacularly. Maybe "reinvent" is a strong word. She may work magic, but she's not expecting miracles.
