S9E06: This is Not the Flash, this is Sad
panagiotis199317 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Live Reaction / Review for The Flash Season 9 Episode 6: I really hope this episode is better than episode 5 which was awful. So no Barry in this episode? The Flash without the Flash in the final season... great, amazing. Joe is gone, that sucks. Bruh, its the final season and we get a metahuman who had the power of good luck and now has bad luck, like who cares, why they do this? This is the plot, seriously? Am I the only one who doesn't care about ''Khione''? This new character gets introduced in the last season? Why? That's the wrong choice. Its not the time to make such a huge change. I don't care if she has meta powers or whatever, just give me more Barry, only a few episodes left! Some really cringe dialogue between Allegra and Cecile. Cecile: ''Never bet against a Superwoman'', oh the cringe, can't take it, its too much... The chemistry between Chester and Allegra is so bad, feels extremely forced. And Khione is not a meta and also not a human, what is she? I don't care. What a boring, pointless filler episode, a black void. Can this season get worse than this? This is worse than the previous episode too. Just sad, really sad. This is not the Flash. My rating is 3/10.

Waste of time
Kenjislamberry22 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Who actually thought this episode was a great idea . It would have made more sense for Becky to ask for Barry's help to prove her innocence . This episode was mainly filler .Becky was the only good character this episode . The Cecile and Allegra team up felt so forced. Becky's return was wasted on this episode . Besides the end scene you don't really need to watch this episode . Its very clear they only did this episode to give Grant and Candice a break in filming this season before the final arc episodes . I saw the preview for this weeks episode it looks so far than this episode . Hopefully there is a teaser for cobalt blue at the end in the upcoming episode.

Might be the single worst episode of The Flash ever
siggy0316 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What the hell did I just watch ? I had to watch this at 1.5x speed. I just feel like the writers don't learn from their mistakes. Just remember the last time Barry and Iris left for a whole episode... it gave us 7x14 « Rayo de Luz » aka the worst rated episode of the Flash ever. But I have a feeling this one is worse.

The best part of the episode has nothing to do with the episode at all... because it is how beautiful Iris is looking... anyways.

The rest felt like a mix between 4x3, 7x13 and 7x14. The episode felt like a comedy but two problems come here: all of the humor falls short. And also, you don't do a comedy episode for the last season of the show. We've already wasted one episode that could have been used for the last arc. The plot was boring and uninteresting. The CGI was ok. And worst part of it... the dialogue... MY GOODNESS. It made the Gotham Knights pilot look like an absolute masterpiece.

This show manages to fail everything they try to do. They couldn't even pull a Legends If Tomorrow if they tried. At this point I don't even have any hope for the rest of the season. Just kill this show with fire now.

Back to kiddie land cartoon show
terrylarosa16 March 2023
After a fairly good beginning to the season with some adult episodes; this went back to the kiddie land junk that encompassed most of the last 2 seasons. Another trash ep without Flash and anything resembling adult writing. Most of the cast acts so childish I don't know how they don't feel shame doing these episodes. 7 more and this long past it's overdue date of demise will be upon us and good riddance. What was once a great show has fallen so far off the beaten path it's a chore to watch. And just when I thought we might have a decent season along comes this abomination. End Flash end as soon as possible.

That's not how casinos work. That's not how they work at all.
Mister_Ocean16 March 2023
Have the writers of The Flash ever played a game of Blackjack at a casino...? Have they ever BEEN in a casino?

Because this plot makes no sense. I'm not saying it's too complicated; I'm saying it feels like it was written by a bad AI or an alien.

The one bar in town apparently also turns into a casino?

And the villain's plan was to cheat in a game of blackjack at this casino-bar by using a meta's luck powers?

Okay, but the way he does it is by forcing the meta to... work at this casino... as a dealer?

And the owners of this casino-bar, who are not associated with the villains, is just okay with being scammed out of their money...?

...because a Blackjack game where the players play against the House is somehow... a private game...?

And the people organizing this game are the very same people that attacked the bar-turned-casino owner YESTERDAY?

Look, I'm not asking for realism; The Flash can be a goofy show, and that's always been one of its charms.

But the writers seriously need to touch grass once in a while. Suspension of disbelief is a thing, you know.

Asinine plot aside, this was an incredibly boring episode featuring lackluster side characters. I get they want to spend more time developing these other people, but none of them are particularly compelling.

It's not like with Nora, Bart, Wally, Cisco, or Wells. Their stories were incredibly interesting, and that allowed them to momentarily steal the spotlight from Barry, in a good way.

The side character we have now couldn't steal a glance from me.

A wasted "Flash" episode
jp757016 March 2023
When you are in your final season and are trying to wrap up the loose ends, you can't waste an episode. Yet that is exactly what this was - a wasted episode. The title character disappears by the fourth minute and reappears in the last 2 minutes - no speed, not even a costume. Seems like an effort to save money by the production company. (Or does Grant Gustin really HATE wearing the red suit.)

What was this episode? Bringing back a relatively minor supporting character from three episodes in Season 4 (that was 5 to 6 years ago) in a plot that looks a lot like a "back-door pilot". You know, an attempt to create a spin-off show by making it part of the original. (If there is a plan to create a Cecile/Allegra spin-off, it already looks bad.)

And it sure looks like Danielle Panabaker (now relegated to playing the most clueless character she's ever had) was visibly pregnant in this episode. If she was during filming, that's wonderful, but there is no explanation in regards to this new character "whats-her-name".

Not giving away any spoilers, this episode does absolutely nothing to help bring the Flash to its eventual close. This was the fourth of the remaining 13 episodes and it didn't do a thing! The Flash has only 9 episodes left and there doesn't seem to be enough time to introduce a threat, resolve it, and tie up the series. This show is running out of steam fast.

Warning: Spoilers
Oh God Please No ! Its the Final Season, and it is getting worse since the last 3 Episodes !

Oh God i really had Hope for a spectacular Final Season of the Flash, an Epic ending for the Series but oh my god its until now is really , really dissapointing !

No oh no please no !!

What a Shame, i really Hope there is still Hope for the Show, it needs either a big Character Death, a Huge ,Plot-Twisting Action-Moment, a Disaster or something else to get the Story and the Viewers really hooked !

God Damn what a Shame ! Bring Ezra Miller in or Old Classic Characters from the Show, even if its logically Reverse Flash, i dont care ! I Want a good, satisfying Ending pleeeeease !

WHAT DID I JUST WATCH
lucasbradshaw202216 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
God i hate this show so much now. Like i actually dread having to watch it. The only reasons that i AM still watching it is because of my nostalgia for the show.

First, how many times are we going to say it, this show is literally called "THE FLASH". Not this different variant of caitlin, not knock off cisco, not allegra, not absent parent cecile. Like what were the writers thinking? Was this a filler episode? Because it felt like one. Even if it was a filler episode why the hell would you put a filler in the FINAL SEASON OF THE SHOW?? This episode goes to show that the writers are lacking ideas. If this season was the regular 17-23 episodes then fine, do a filler; BUT NOT WHEN ITS THE LAST SEASON AND THERE IS ONLY 13 EPISODES.

Most of you probably liked reading this review more than the actual episode itself and i honestly don't care enough to write anymore about this episode because it was just that bad. I'm so glad this show is ending.

Review of episode 6
anafarm17 March 2023
I don't usually write reviews. But this time I decided to take up the pen and talk a little about the new episode. The first point : Completing the West Allen family was the beautiful event that we have been waiting for for a long time. Barry Allen's sudden trip didn't need an excuse for a vacation at this point in time. Although I love the team but this is the last chance we get to see The Flash.

Therefore, I am not willing to endure even a second of the series without Barry's presence!

The narration of the story was not very good, even the dialogues seemed a bit repetitive and exaggerated!

For God sake, The viewer is not supposed to be excited every time he sees Chester and Allegra😐 And why we should care about kione?

Caitlin could be happy with Julian and be with team flash!

If she wants to be with Mark, that seems strange!

And another question, This show always talks about the family but we have Cecile and she doesn't want to be with them and likes to save the world instead of Barry. Okay that is the serious problem about the meaning of the family and parenting.

The only positive point of this episode was the presence of Becky Sharp and it took us to season 4 to relive our memories 😶 CGI was great also.... I hope the rest of the episodes will be full of cool sequences of fights between Barry and criminals 🙏😎 My rating is 6/10.

Skip this episode
nilupulx616 March 2023
The titular character is only in the episode for less than 2 minutes in the beginning and the end.

Can't believe this crap is what they're choosing to fill episodes up in the final season. This season should be focused on the Flash.

This is just another boring filler episode. It should be called catching up with Cecile, not the Flash. The writer came up with yet another excuse for the main and probably the only interesting character in the show to be somewhere else when all this crap is going on.

This episode adds nothing to the storyline. If IMDB had zero stars, that's what this episode deserves.

it feels like an episode from the season 4
andreamontemurro13 July 2023
I want to start off by saying I'm a big fan of The Flash, the arrowverse and just superhero movies and tv shows in general. I've watched every episode of The Flash even though the last 3 seasons haven't been very good. The Flash is one of the better superhero shows on but it's been getting worse. The season 9 is the last, but they are making a good job with it. I liked the Becky sharpe return. Very well written story. Not all fillers are bad. I hope the show will have a good end. I'm glad the writers gave Grant Gustin and Candice Patton some time off. I would have enjoyed the episode far more if it weren't the final season. Interlude episodes are always exciting.

A sort of homage to season 4
RahulM00716 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
"Nora will be here...in a Flash!"

The sixth episode of the final season titled "The Good, the Bad and the Lucky" directed by Chad Lowe successfully shined a light on the supporting characters and strengthened the relationships between them, mainly Cecile and Allegra, but also Mark and Khione. I love how the first interlude episode is a nod to the 1966 Clint Eastwood film "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." This episode can be categorized as the epitome of filler. It is not meant to push the main narrative forward, rather should give fans a feeling of freedom, nostalgia, and contentment. The episode is purely designed to be fun and entertaining without any regard to the inevitable end. I loved the callbacks to season 4, and Becky Sharpe's fun and joyous return. As far as interlude episodes go, "The Good, the Bad and the Lucky" (or unlucky) sort of lies somewhere in the middle for me. It is definitely an episode I'd revisit in the future whenever I'm feeling down or down on my luck (pun intended). Plus, Cecile and Allegra are one of my favourite duos. They literally have the best chemistry on- and off-screen. #GirlPower

Other tidbits:

*I'm glad the writers gave Grant Gustin and Candice Patton some time off. I would have enjoyed the episode far more if it weren't the final season. Interlude episodes are always exciting, and I am always intrigued to see what Eric Wallace comes up with, but it would have been wiser if the episode included Barry and Iris in a greater capacity. Team Flash could have contacted them, but I guess they did not want to interrupt their babymoon adventure.

*Becky's opening monologue gave me season 1 vibes.

*Khione is apparently the Goddess of Snow. I am enthused to see where her story is headed and how she factors into the rest of the season.

*Cecile should have asked Barry to take her to see Joe and Jenna. That would have been extremely wholesome and sweet of him. He is a speedster after all.

Final verdict: 7.8/10.

Pack it up, Eric.
thebatssidekick18 March 2023
This episode was disrespectful to the character of the Flash and the seasons that came before Eric's control. This is your last season. This is your shortest season. Why, why, why, why, WHY are we still doing "interlude" a.k.a. Filler episodes? What is the purpose? Ever since Eric came onto the series as its show-runner, the quality has dropped exponentially. Nobody cares about these side characters! And it's like you knew that, but decided to shove them in our faces anyway just to spite us for being critical of your work. It disgraces the previous seasons of the show and is tarnishing its legacy as what was one of the best superhero TV shows ever. All I have left to say to you, Eric, is good luck finding another company dumb enough to let you run a television series after the way you destroyed this one.

The Plot Holes, the Bad Writing and the Retcons
demigodshmurda16 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not even mad about this episode. Honestly, I'm not. I'm just disappointed. Why? Well, because Eric Wallace had the audacity to say that he wanted to conclude Legends of Tomorrow's cliffhanger, but that they "didn't have time during the season". And yeah I'm paraphrasing, but not by much.

"Didn't have time during the season" you say? But you certainly had time to spend an entire episode justifying why Cecile asked Allegra to move in with her.

See, I'm not mad about the episode itself. I'm mad about what it stands for. It stands for Eric Wallace clearly having no respect for the fans or even the show he's working on.

You want examples? You want receipts? Well I got 'em.

This episode presents us with a device called a Dark Matter Refractor that's created and sold by Goldface, and it has the ability to reflect meta powers back at the metas that used them. And I really hope I'm not the only one who sees the implications of this technology. So what if these things are single use? If the Flash ever comes up to a criminal now, they can just easily bust out one of these devices and suddenly Barry's knocked off his feet at best, and stuck standing still for a bit at worst. This episode shouldn't have ended with Barry and Iris having a baby shower, it should've ended with Barry hanging up the suit for good because the criminals can now easily always defeat him.

"Who cares? It's the final season." Exactly! We've still got seven more episodes where this tech could be used! They *need* to keep using these devices! They're too valuable to criminals to just sweep under the rug!

And you know how I said they were created by Goldface? You know, the metahuman criminal that knows Barry's secret identity now? Why did the writers *let* him make these things since he's supposed to be a quasi-good guy now? They literally *just* finished a story where he worked with the Flash to stop a speedster bent on taking over the world, and the immediate next episode he's suddenly returned to crime. Villains' gotta villain I guess, but it just shows Eric Wallace's lack of consistency. "Oh Goldface is kindof a good guy now? Yeah, we're gonna need to retcon that because we need a villain of the week for our next filler episode. Retcon *all* of that."

And why would the crooks even drop the Dark Matter Refractor after it's been used? Put it back in your pocket and burn it when you get home. You're giving the heroes a chance to figure out what you're using and find a counter to it.

Aren't these devices supposed to be single-use only? So how come Becky's engagement ring can infinitely invert her powers?

And speaking of Becky Sharpe, why is she even alive? I get that Crisis can change some stuff, but this is one of the characters that you canonically *cannot* revive! We've seen DeVoe's high chair in several past episodes, so we know the events of season 4 still happened post-crisis! This means that Becky was still created by DeVoe on the bus, and still had to die so DeVoe could complete his plan. This is one of the characters you can't just say "Crisis changed it" to, because you've already proven the events are the same pre-crisis as they are post-crisis!

But by far the worst thing in the episode is Cecile's dilemma about not being able to visit Joe and her daughter. This plot has absolutely no personal stakes because it was a massive plot point in the two immediately previous episodes that Team Flash can casually use Nash's Instant-Transmission Smoke Bombs to teleport *anywhere in the world!* You don't need a train, Cecile. You don't even need a car. Just borrow one of your new roommate's Instant-Transmission Smoke Bombs and go see your daughter using those. Simple problem? Simple solution.

Oh yeah, and you know how she said "I can't use my powers on a client. It's an ethical line I can't cross."? Well that's not a thing anymore because she reads Becky's mind in this episode. In fact, I was even able to call the exact moment that was going to happen. Because continuity is the devil, apparently.

You know an episode's bad when they play Frank Sinatra at the end and I have no reaction to it. Yikes.

I'm honestly just thankful this is the final season of The Flash, because at this point I know there's no chance it gets better. I have been here since season 1, but this is the last straw for me. I will watch until the end of the season, and then I'm done.

1 / 10.

The show keeps getting worse, as it approaches the end
yannis_bal16 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Oh, God, enough is enough! It's the first time I am trashing this show with a review, but I should have many times. So, what are our main complaints throughout the entire show, or at least during the last seasons? Everything has gotten worse in this episode. And this last short season has been a disaster so far, instead of the show ending on a better note. The ongoing problems are:

1. Is it really the Flash? It never is about Barry's story lately, so why not remove him from the episode altogether? This is a recipe for success, has been done again, so why not midway the last season?

2. Half of the episode is about talking, whining and complaining. Cecile and Mark were unbearable

3. The "fight" scenes? At times, they have been decent enough, especially when Barry is involved, but this time they were attrocious. The slight glimpse of action for 5 of the last 10 minutes does not save it.

4. About Chuck and Allegra, I don't hate them, but don't care about them either. They should have hooked up years ago, and the way they started their relationship was so wrong and awkward (timing, etc). Their scenes together also feel kind of off.

I skipped 10 sec the episode all the time
papadospyris20 March 2023
After episode 5, after the waste of a really good character like red death, that they did her a babie girl with annoying voice, screaming all the time, I was waiting for a decent episode. Instead of that, I watched a garbadge episode, that Cesill or whatever we spelled her name, was crying all the time for her family, like we care about her and her family. I watch the flash series, neither Cesill series nor any other sidekick that is heartbroken. I wish the director and those Who wrote every episode, to stay unemployed for the rest of their lives, in order not to destroy any other series with bad stories and bad cgis.

Lacks awareness of what dad's go through in family court
pyroman117 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Many people have already addressed the many flaws with this episode, so I'll not revisit them. I want to address the comment by Cecile that Jenna will view her as some relative she sees on the weekend. This was such a tone-deaf comment given that dads overwhelmingly receive only weekend, and often only every other weekend, visitations with their children. Why would you write a line such as that? It's a slap in the face to so many non-custodial parents, most of whom are fathers.

To meet the minimum character requirements, I'll also address the awkward fight scenes that looked as if no one knew where to stand or what to do.

This episode and season 9 as a whole are truly damaging to the Flash's legacy as an otherwise quality show.
DCForDays17 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I truly can't believe how far this show has fallen compared to 2 or 3 years ago. Whatever grace I had left to give them from Season 6 and Armageddon is gone. In an episode where Cecile called herself "Superwoman" and we had a murder suspect that wasn't ever arrested/detained investigating her own case with her super powered lawyer and a Newspaper assistant..the worst part was Chester sending "Khiones" test results to Caitlin's mother to run on her dead daughters replacement and completely ignoring that they didn't tell her that her daughter was dead. In a 13 episode shortened final season of a once beloved show, we got yet another interlude episode from Eric Wallace and crew when we have barely advanced any main plot now halfway through the season. After 5 episodes that had little to no story and more scenes with "team Flash" than we did with the Flash himself I'm scratching my head asking myself "what in the world were they thinking when writing these episodes?".

This episode was akin to treading water which is completely baffling considering the shows show runner and writers complained about not having enough time to include other incredible stories like "blackest night", the Justice League versus Despero, or a Legends series wrap up. Cecile has become a completely unlikeable character who seems to be willing to read everyone's mind as a telepath when it suits the plot, but deems it as unethical at other points in the prior season. The writers have also completely devalued the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover considering they have decided that everyone on the show now knows that Crisis happened when that wasn't the case previously. More importantly, it was never explained how Becky Sharp (the episodes main guest star) either came back to life or survived Devoe's murderous wrath in season 4 considering the last time we saw her she was killed on screen. We were then never given a wrap up or explanation to what happened with the criminal investigation that she was at the center of and was the whole point of the episode to begin with.

The concept of a filler episode in a shortened season is flawed in itself, especially considering we have now wasted half of the final season on Cecile, Allegra and Chester's relationship, and a poorly acted Red Death character. These writers need to read the room and realize just how far they have veered off track. If this season is not completely turned around starting with the next episode, then I don't think that even the strongest of final graphic novel arcs could save this season from damaging the legacy of this show permanently. If you want to watch a well written, quality episode of comic book television or are looking for a single episode that represents what this show is/was at its best, then you should skip Season 9 Episode 6 altogether.

A horrible episode
sarozebel21 March 2023
Just don't watch this show anymore. They just wanna wrap up the arrow-verse and lazy to write some nice episodes to finish off the show. Cmon the show is called flash and we barely seen him run this season. It's more like a sitcom show that people try to bring out other villans' goodness. We should call this "Redemption in a Flash". Also, what is wrong with then bringing back old stupid villains. They should have just cancelled it 4 seasons ago and kept the good memories. Another thing to mention is the character development. Just awful. Best thing that happened to Hartley Sawyer aka Elongated man was to get fired. He saved his career! Crap show.

Warning: Spoilers
The worst episode of the Flash. It's the last season and we are wasting time on nonesense? Why? No one is interested in Cecile being a bad mother and lousy superhero. Does anyone care about Khione's third replacement? I don't. Why is this so Barry and Iris light when they just had big news and oh yeah there is only 13 episodes left. Who in their right mind decides to make a filler episode with only 13 episodes? Eric complains he doesn't have enough time to wrap stories. I can see why. This isn't any any filler episode it's the worst episode of the Flash ever. Nothing redeeming about it at all.

I wish I could give negative ratings cause WTF?!
marihgouvea16 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Every time that I review here I feel like parrot myself because the issue is ALWAYS the same thing. Ever since Eric Wallace and his army of Nickelodeon writers took over this show was been laughable in their best days. Out of this season the ONLY episode that holds it's own is the first one and it is because it was focused on Barry and the core of the show (of course it wasn't perfect cause it already had seeds of the clownery that came after).

If in the Red Death arc the problem was miscasting, pacing and the unbearably cringe writing the issue here was STILL the writing and forgeting who their characters are.

Because apart from the cartoon network superficial writing the issue is the characters from this bloated cast and most especially the lack of boundaries that this production has within itself be it having the showrunner self inserting all the bloody time with Chester and Allegra (who he created and brought to the show to have a relationship with the show's version of himself I guess - yes, it IS as creepy as it sounds) or the actors personal lives and whims bleeding into their characters.

Because make no mistake, what we saw there for 40 long excrutiating minutes was not Cecile and Allegra, it was Danielle Nicolet and Kayla Compton. Because they are "besties" in real life sharing tacos and being hermanas they decided that for some reason it would be interesting to put the 20 something year old "reporter" light meta and the 50 something meta "lawyer" "mother" on a girl badass team up because why not right? We all watch The Flash to see 2 women acting like teenagers in detriment of the story. That is the goal!

Just like we live to see Chester, Allegra and Cecile taking over the West house in what feels like the best representation of the replacement of the leads and Joe for the cheapest side character insert I have ever seen.

The writing was ridiculously inconsistent creating countless plotholes not only within the episode but also with the ones that came before. Hazard left in such a good note on season 4 after a rookie start that it was honestly sad seeing yet another weekly villain butchered by incompetent hacks.

Then as a cherry on top was we get even MORE character assassination for Cecile (though honestly is there anything else to assassinate? I think not) who was the world worst mother who already agreed to give up her child and baby daddy on work days and now is missing even the 2 days a week she should have AND her daughter's birthday to boot to play hero with the girlies. I am not even gonna comment anything more on that front... We also get a dragged down story of Khione's powers and Mark apparently having a budding romance with the woman he wanted to sacrifice after he already sacrificed another version of to get the dead girlfriend who had sacrificed herself for her sister back to live. As you can see super healthy non creepy non complicated normal stuff! And a reveal that Khione is not human nor meta and can make it snow.

And am I forgetting anyone? I covered everyone on The Cecile right? Oh no! Sorry... I forgot the unimportant recurrings Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen who no one cares about, right? Or that is what you would think when seeing them show for a whopping 1 minute and 20 seconds overall, 50 of which is dedicated to celebrating the not at all important coming birth of the resident hero's first child that everyone definitely has not been waiting for over 4 seasons now. After all why have Barry being a competent hero and starting his legacy of speedsters? When we can see Allegra and Chester going back and forth acting like children or smooching on 360 dramatic kisses no asked and Cecile debating if she is going to be the hero no one wants and continue to be the good mother she never was.

And don't get me wrong. I concept of filler episodes when you don't get the leads for as much time as you would like due to contractual reasons and has to make due with the regular cast. Even if I think an already shortened season should not include this sort of episodes I get that it was the way the dice roles. What don't get was the wasting and dragging of the stories from the last arc into this making it even more unnerving for those characters who spin their wheels being uninteresting and unengaging solely to waste our times. The writers have 8 seasons to learn from, there is already a CLEAR indicator that filler episodes focused on either of those characters flop hard (Rayo de Luz being the most egregious example of) and that that the nickelodeon cheap humor is hardly ever welcomed in this show (see girls night out or love is a battlefield). The fillers that have worked on the past were based on fan favorites like Cisco or Nora and Bart, not people who the audience barely tolerates on normal episodes.

It's the final season, "final run". You could have given us a Jay Garrick standalone episode or even kept Hartley for another episode. Hell even a Mark Khione in trouble episode would have been more interesting than that or tracking the Hacker Chester faced last season.

And if you have to have the leads away don't do a half assed reveal or celebration of one of the most important milestones of their lifes just to have pictures to bait the audience with!

The truth is the leads stole the show with one minute and Khione's last scene was the most interesting plotwise. And when the last minutes of the show are the only thing worth a damn you know you screwed up.

Waste of time

It was so boring and such a big time waste to watch this episode. No efforts made to make it appealing to the audience. There was a good start to the season but really went off track to the script they were on. Not sure what happened to Iris' time illness. Not sure if it was shown or I don't remember the cause of it and how they cured it. They keep switching stories as if they themselves don't know in which direction they want to move. My suggestion, stick to a line follow and show it completely and keep these childish episodes as behind the scenes if anyone is interested. I am 21 characters short so ignore this last sentence.

Whaaat???
dwoodzz-3514827 March 2023
So I tuned in to what I thought was The Flash and got an episode of the spin off series "The Women of Flash". Which is unfortunate because these characters have become annoying. Cecile being the worst. What was once just a love interest for Joe has now become the most powerful meta on the planet... aka "Superwoman" in their own words, who is always crying for some reason. Allegra is just there as a CW relationship vehicle with Chester. And Khione, although somewhat compelling in her mystery, seems all too late to the party, considering this is the final season. At least it wasn't all about Iris like usual... but wait... next week's preview looks like it's all about Iris... again. I'm only watching still because I'm a completist (like Sheldon) and can't just bail on a show I've watched (and liked) from day one. Call it a curse. But please please stop the nonsense of this season so far, get back to Barry (aka the title character), and let's finish the series strong!

I Was So Confused

Warning: Spoilers
The entire episode I was watching I was wondering where the hell is Flash. Once we got to the plot line and the brother showed up I knew we were going to get a repeat episode with all the female characters taking over. So this doesn't feel like the Flash if we're focusing on supporting characters in the last season. So it doesn't give me that superman and Lois vibe of caring about character development, a good story. Damn good action in actually plausible dialogue. This episode was another trash episode of CWs the Trash. They're making it the only reasoning to watch the show is because you were a loyal fan at the beginning and you want to see how it is but now old as an overall look, this show is trash, and I'm gonna be watching Superman and Lois.
