- After his father's murder Diego becomes Zorro seeking revenge against Nah-Lin who he thinks took inheritance. Zorro struggles against the Governor, Chinese community leader and secret society prioritizing justice though losing Lola's love.
- Diego de la Vega complements his studies at Madrid university with military training, but receives a letter his father Alejandro was murdered on the family hacienda.
