Solid ending

This has been a great series overall, and they did well with the hard work of navigating the plot in a way that adds to the film franchise. Very solid, satisfying ending.

The perfect ending to a brilliant show

Warning: Spoilers
The first half is spoiler-free; after 5 magnificent seasons it's finally time to goodbye to this show and I would like to thank; Steven Spielberg, Michael Crichton and everyone else who worked on this fantastic series! Ok let's jump into spoilers; if you've seen the previous seasons; Season 1 was just the beginning, Seasons 2-4 are the middle and the Fith and final is the end anyway I loved this episode it will go down as the best finale of kids TV on Netflix! The characters have changed so much between its first season to the final season! I enjoyed the relationships so much whether it's Brooklyn and Kenji or Yaz and Sammy! The point of the hero's journey is that you have someone who's leaving home for the first time and they've achieved that! The kids at Camp Cretaceous will always and forever be The Nublar Six! That's why I'm giving this series finale an 8/10 go watch it and enjoy it for yourself I hope you like it and there's one last chance to say it; "Goodbye Camp Cretaceous, I'll miss you" :-(

Season Five Review
southdavid21 December 2022
I've watched the five seasons of "Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous" with my son and despite the rapid speed which the show has been churned out, and the fact that the last couple of seasons have pushed at the boundaries of credibility a little bit, overall, he, and I, have very much enjoyed it.

Kenji (Ryan Potter) is delighted to find his father Daniel (Andrew Kishino) on the island, though they are all shocked to discover that he is the controlling officer for Mantah Corp. This puts Kenji at odds with the group and particularly against Brooklynn (Jenna Ortega) seemingly ending their budding relationship. But even Kenji struggles with his fathers plans to place control chips in all the dinosaurs and to manufacture these control chips for export. Investors from another company, BioSyn, come to the island - including their leader Lewis Dodgson (Adam Harrington).

You have to be impressed with the way this series has wound itself around the revelations of the movies, including here bringing Dodgson ("We've got Dodgson here!") back into the series chronologically before his appearances in "Dominion", although this comes out after. As with the last run, there are some leaps in technological logic in order to keep the story going. The BRAD robots are less prevalent here, instead the threat is often our "hero" dinosaurs manipulated by a chip embedded in them and controlled by a standard games console controller. Though to make these criticisms in the first place, ignores the idea that this is a kids show.

It's still a good show though. The individual episodes are filled with decent action set pieces and nice character moments. I'm not 100% convinced we needed a second relationship between the campers, but that relationship between Yaz and Sammy is nicely played.

For a show that could easily just have been a cash in on the Jurassic franchise name, there's a lot of care and thought that appears to have gone into this show, which for my money is the best thing that the series has done since 1993.

AN ABSOLUT BANG!
skt-life23 December 2022
I can't belive how they manage to tie everything up in this last episode and also teasing us with a potential future of this series without it feeling forced!?

The writers did a amazing job and I never thought I would get goosebumps from a kids show?? I absolutly love the characters, the story, character development and so on! They should have used the writers of this series instead of the ones for the last two Juarassic World films!!

I highly recomend this to anyone who love the orginal Juarassic Park movies and want to further go in to the world of the Juarassic World franchise! I had an absolut blast watching this!!!!
