The plot of the film revolves around Baputty and Abdu, who are colleagues in the boating industry. Abdu hails from Vazhakadavu. He had moved from his place of origin during his childhood. His mother and younger sister have gained a reputation for themselves in the village that is not entirely positive. Consequently, he harbours a strong animosity towards them both. Following Abdu's death, Baputty travels to Vazhakadavu to inform Abdu's family of his passing. Upon becoming acquainted with Abdu's family, Baputty developed a romantic interest in Abdu's sister, Nabeesu. This resulted in a deepening of their relationship. Baputty sought to secure financial resources to support Nabeesu. Concurrently, Kunjali, a native of Vazhakadavu, returned to the village with considerable wealth. He expressed a desire for Nabeesu to marry him. He initiated a connection with Nabeesu's mother. Upon Baputty's return, a rift emerges between him and Kunjali. Consequently, Baputty and Nabeesu elected to elope. However, Kunjali perpetrated an act of sexual violence against Nabeesu without her consent. Consequently, Nabeesu rejected Baputty's advances and took her own life.
