The Coven has boarded Patricia Heaton-led horror The Beldham from Wicked Myth Films and heads to Cannes with worldwide sales rights.
Angela Gulner’s feature debut follows single mother Harper played by Katie Parker (The Fall Of The House Of Usher) who moves in with her own mother (Heaton) to renovate a fading suburban farmhouse.
Before long, Harper finds herself haunted by a threatening presence that seems to desire her infant child. Inspired by folklore about the Beldham, an old hag that feeds on the souls of the young, the film blurs the lines between myth and the true...

Exclusive: Signature Entertainment has pre-bought UK & Irish rights to Damien Leone’s horror sequel Terrifier 3 from The Coven, having released the first two movies in the franchise.
David Howard Thornton and Lauren Lavera are set to reprise their roles as Art the Clown and Sienna, respectively, in the Christmas-themed horror movie which will hit North American theaters on October 25, 2024.
A statement this week from Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting revealed that villanous Art the Clown will “unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.” Filming is expected to get underway in January, 2024.
The threequel is produced by Phil Falcone (Terrifier franchise) and is directed and written by Damien Leone (Terrifier franchise). As we revealed earlier this year, the film is understood to be getting a budget in the low-mid seven figure range, a significant increase on that of the sequel.

We’ve come a long way since the start of “Sex Education,” when we were all rooting for (or at least commiserating with) Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), the Netflix dramedy’s awkward, anxious and slightly dysfunctional hero. Four years later, we’re saying goodbye to the show’s high school student-turned-amateur sex therapist and his brilliant sex therapist mother, Dr. Jean Milburn (played by the incomparable Gillian Anderson), along with a lengthy cast of characters we’ve all grown to love.
In this final season, we get to see each character develop into the people we’ve wanted them to become. And in a sense, it seems like some end up outshining Otis, making it feel like perhaps he was never really the hero of this story, but rather an entry point into the interwoven lives of the diverse residents of the fictional town of Moordale.

This article contains details from real life events that will likely spoil upcoming episodes of HBO’s White House Plumbers.
Having learned most of what I know about the Watergate scandal from Mad magazine, it took me a while to realize White House Plumbers is a satire. The five-part HBO series telling the true story of the secret unit inside President Richard M. Nixon’s White House begins with The New York Times, not necessarily renowned for its comedic prowess. The story got the paper labeled as scions of “liberal media,” another term seemingly rendered spoof by the stringent journalistic standards of the periodical. The White House Plumbers pulled out their tools to stop the leaking of the Pentagon Papers, and hit a water main. It appears predestined they would get clogged at a place called the Watergate.
The limited series begins with a disclaimer warning none of the names...

Avatar and Top Gun sequels may have ruled 2022 global box office but the top hits for the Generation Z and over-55 crowds were After Ever Happy and Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris.
New viewership research by data analytics and campaign management company Movio collated from more than 50 countries and unveiled at CinemaCon on Monday presented a different perspective on the most popular theatrical releases of last year – and a timely one given that Hollywood is chasing younger and older crowds.

Just when the break between American Horror Story's season seven finale and season eight premiere was starting to feel like an eternity, Ryan Murphy swooped in with a pretty exciting bit of information about what fans of the FX anthology series can expect in the next batch of episodes.
Despite pretty strong rumors that the season would have a "Radioactive" theme - which would tie in perfectly with Murphy's hints that it's taking place in the near future - the showrunner revealed season eight will actually be the highly anticipated crossover between season one's "Murder House" and season three's "Coven."
