Cinematography in this film stands out to me very much, especially knowing what modern Serbian films look like. The protagonist in this film is a real trans woman who is open about her work and her life, but this is not a biopic.
I've read many reviews that criticize the portrayal of the church in this film, Christianity in general. I do not agree that this is a bad thing. Religion is a very normal thing for people to practise, that is our way of trying to find meaning in life that seems... sometimes it seems meaningless. The topic of Christianity is prevelant in this film, but I think it was very well-adjusted.
But I have to say that I appreciate the cinematography much more than the story, even though it is not bad at all. It just sometimes feels empty.
