Precise lines, many white spaces, sensitive theme. And ambiguity used for provoke the viewer.

The subject seems very simple and , in essence, moving one - a young woman meets her biological parents. Her emotions, their enthusiasm, stories and photos. And the motif for the abandon of her.

The heavy tension.

And, the night.

A cult ? An eccentric comunity ? A cruel game ?

The end is powerful enough for not expect any explanations. So, not the subject is axis but the beautiful performances, especially Georgina Campbell. And, yes, the foxes.

A film about a family and its secrets And about an expected meeting very different by expectations.

So creepy !!!

Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this as part of an episode of bloody bites. It started very innocently with a young woman meeting her biological parents. It is very emotional to her and at one point she breaks down crying. Her mom gives her a cryptic message that their family is not accepted by society. She missed the last shuttle going back to the mainland and had to spend the night with them even though she did not want to. The rest of the episode was so creepy! The sense of claustrophobia you feel at the ending is intense! The episode is short but it reminds me of the scary stories we used to tell around campfires to scare each other.
