Politically Inept, with Homer Simpson is a good Simpsons episode with a well written storyline and many very funny scenes. It was certainly a different Simpsons episode, diving in to the world of politics quite deeply, we get to see the writers many different views and opinions through the eyes of Homer Simpson as he hosts his own political talk show, which was certainly a lot of fun and his speech on the airplane at the beginning was a very well spoken moment. The episode starts off strong, but I was forced to change it from an eight to a seven because of how the story decreases, Homer's comments on his show become much less funny once he becomes involved with republicians and the whole thing becomes too "pro-Democrat" when it should have just been pro-comedy. The worst part of this for me had to be Ted Nugent, once he comes in all the witty satire comes to an end and we are forced to listen to his brutal one liners, if Homer was forced to endorse a fictional celebrity, lick Rainier Wolfcastle or Kent Brockman, it would have been fine, but instead they brought in one of the series most mediocre guest appearances to date. It has many flaws, but Politically Inept with Homer Simpson is still a very enjoyable episode.
