Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A teenage boy shows a young girl a video clip that evidently shows a man's erect penis being pleasured by a woman from a pornographic film, which the audience briefly sees, and uses a sexual phrase the girl later repeats to an adult who leaps to her own conclusion and spreads devastating gossip.
  • The entire plot revolves around a man wrongfully accused of indecent exposure and pedophilia. The film does not shy away from this dark subject matter, and it very bravely tackles it. However, it is not vulgar or crude in any way.

Violence & Gore

  • An unseen hunter shoots at the protagonist, very probably in an attempt to terrorize him. Due to lighting, the shooter's face is unseen but was close enough to certainly kill him if that was the intent. It is a shocking scene.
  • A dead dog is covered with a plastic bag. It has a rope round its neck, implying it was strangled to death. The dog is later seen being buried by the devastated owner.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The gun shot near the end at the main character is shocking.
  • A dog is killed in a brutal way, however the killing of the dog is not shown just the body and signs of it being violent.
  • A man and his son are talking in the kitchen and a rock is chucked through the window nearly hitting the man. This is a very jumpy moment and will likely catch you off guard.
