The film implies that Kerry lost his foot in a motorcycle accident just after his NWA world title win against Ric Flair in May 1984. The motorcycle accident actually happened in June 1986. Moreover, Kerry did not have his foot amputated until 1987 after Fritz forced Kerry back into the ring prematurely, causing him to re-injure the foot he hurt in the accident.
Kerry is seen talking to Kevin on the phone contemplating suicide since the WWF wouldn't renew his contract. In actuality, Kerry was released by the WWF in August 1992 (six months prior to his death) due to his issues with substance abuse.
Kevin is depicted as finding Kerry dead after his suicide, when it was actually Fritz who discovered Kerry's body.
Kevin Von Erich's wedding is seen taking place in a banquet hall. In actuality, Kevin and Pam had a private outdoor wedding. For dramatic purposes, the banquet hall wedding is based on Kerry's real life 1983 marriage. The film fails to mention Kerry ever being married or having children, which he did in real life.
The film purposely omits the youngest Von Erich brother, Chris. Chris was the only brother to make his official in-ring debut on ESPN television in 1989, after World Class had changed to the United Stated Wrestling Association.
Fans are seen in the parking lot bringing in coolers of beer to the Sportatorium. This was never allowed in real life as the Sportatorium sold beer and Texas law forbade fans bringing alcohol to sporting events/concerts.
The film does not depict fans bringing coolers into the Sportatorium, it depicts fans carrying coolers in the parking lot so they can have tailgate parties.

Mike is seen suggesting Kerry use Rush's "Tom Sawyer" instead of Blondie's "Call Me". Kerry started using "Tom Sawyer" in 1981 shortly after the song was released that year and used it for the first time when he appeared at a Mid South Wrestling taping that year. In 1982, it was producer Mickey Grant who had Kerry use "Call Me" once World Class was gaining national syndication. Kerry disliked it and switched back to "Tom Sawyer". Mike never suggested Kerry use "Tom Sawyer".
Mike does not suggest that Kerry use "Tom Sawyer", the film merely depicts him playing the song while Kerry is working out, and we see a future match where the brothers enter the ring to the song.

Jimmy Carter is depicted as being the U.S. President throughout the timeline of the film. Carter was President during 1980 when he boycotted the U.S. from entering the Olympics. In actuality it was Ronald Reagan that was President during most of the World Class hey day. Also Bill Clinton was President in 1993 when Kerry committed suicide, not Carter.
Jimmy Carter is not depicted as president throughout the film. The only reference to any president is the actual footage of Carter announcing the boycott of the 1980 Olympics.

The wig "Ric Flair" wears in the film is fairly obvious.
Due to licensing with the WWE which owns the World Class Championship Wrestling logo, a generic logo was made instead.
Due to licensing, the generic bottles of beer in the film are based on Budweiser and Lone Star.
One extra is wearing an Apple smart watch during the wedding celebration scene.
When Kerry, Kevin and David win the world 6-man tag team titles, they are given championship belts. In actuality, there were no belts for this title until 1984, at that time the title holders carried a trophy to the ring.
Kerry is seen riding a late 1990s Kawasaki motorcycle which did not exist during the time frame of the film, and was released many years after he passed away.
The Sportatorium has black ring ropes in a few scenes in the 1980s. The Sportatorium never had black ropes in the 1980s as the ropes were red. The ropes changed again in 1986 to red, yellow and blue per request by ESPN for the national and syndicated tapings.
The "party" scene at the bar has a modern Budweiser beer sign.
The computer generated Sportatorium shows the Dallas skyline south of the Sportatorium. The Dallas skyline was actually northeast of the Sportatorium, as the Sportatorium was in the "bad part" of Dallas.
Just prior to the coin toss to decide whether Kevin or Kerry will replace David in the world title match against Ric Flair, Fritz states that Kerry has been "Getting the most heat lately" implying that he's been doing really well. Outside of the professional wrestling industry, this could be considered a positive, however, in wrestling vernacular, "heat" is the term used to describe the kind of reaction that bad guy wrestlers (or heels) get such as jeers and boos. For a heel, getting a lot of heat would be a great thing as it means they would be doing their job really well, but for a good guy (babyface) wrestler like Kerry it would be a huge and embarrassing negative. Fritz would not be likely to use the word "heat" to describe Kerry in this context.
