Lucinda's gargantuan problems get even worse.

Lucinda is made to feel increasingly isolated as Tom takes Abi to his parents home, she faces a tough grilling from Norma and George, she is forced to reveal Rob Thornbury's connection.

It's a pretty good penultimate episode, maybe not as dramatic as I had expected, but it still had some pretty good twists and turns. I'm not too sure how the final segment is going to play out, but they've set it up pretty well.

I am starting to wonder how on Earth Lucinda was able to function as a parent and A&E Doctor, she must have been hanging on by a thread, it's no wonder she was taking medication to get through the day.

Norma and George, if they came away from the home of Rob and Eva thinking everything is as if should be, then Lucinda is in real trouble.

Episode 4

Poor Dr Lucinda Edwards. Friendless at home, work and everywhere else.

Her husband has left and her and taken their daughter. Knowing it was her Temazepam that nearly killed their child.

At work she has to plead with Matron Beth not to report the incident to social services.

After admitting that she altered the medical records to the MIU investigators. Dr Edwards is suspended.

Some people at her hospital board want to throw her out.

At a low ebb, the only way to clear her name is to find out just what the pharmacy owner Dr Jubair Singh is up to.

So far Malpractice has been about the downward spiral of Dr Edwards. The thriller element has been tepid. Dr Sing emerged as a villain at almost the last scene of episode 3.
