Bad Egg ( 2022 )
Cast: Zoya Hussain, Akshay Oberoi, Jim Sarbh, Sheeba Chaddha(Voice) and Shruti Sridharan
Writer & Director: Mehak Jamal
Mehak Jamal brings yet another brilliantly written and directed intense, exciting,adrenaline-filled, thriller film. We do not usually get to see this sort of beautiful and extraordinary movies this time around, This film served as great thriller entertainment with its colorful cast and numerous plot twists. Jamal used actors that had either appeared in previous suspense films and all of them shone in their respective roles: Zoya Hussain was amazing in her role, Akshay Oberoi and Jim Sarbh were both excellent as well-and obviously comfortable with Jamal's directing style and the film's dramatic and intense tone.
All the actors portrayed their respective roles brilliantly.
True to Jamal's style, at 28 minutes, before watching it, this film seemed to be fairly long for a short film but the gorgeous twists in the plot, exciting scenes and impressive dialogues really held the audience's attention and kept them on the edge of their seats.
Music by Samyuktha Narendran is on point. Did absolute justice to Mehak Jamal's beautiful story and direction.
Absolute importance has been given to each and every detail which made every scene of the film breathtaking.
Bad egg is exciting, creative, and dark-and definitely well worth a few minutes of your time.
