- Curtis Brumfield: We're running it now for biologicals.
- Megan Hunt: This is pretty damn good, Curtis.
- Curtis Brumfield: Who's your daddy?
- Megan Hunt: Brought you some coffee. I figured I wasn't the only one that could use it.
- Peter Dunlop: Well, thank you, partner.
- [shows Megan the coffee he got for her]
- Megan Hunt: [chuckles] Well, at least we didn't dress alike.
- Peter Dunlop: Well, I thought about that, but plum doesn't really work for me.
- Ethan Gross: [seeing Bud drink coffee in the autopsy room] Detective, no food or drink. You know that.
- [Bud steps back and sticks his arm out into the hallway]
- Megan Hunt: Gentleman, we have a puzzle: A drug dealer with drugs in his system, who didn't abuse drugs.
- Megan Hunt: So, Bud... when am I gonna meet the wife?
- Detective Bud Morris: I'm sorry?
- Megan Hunt: Jeannie. Bring her by the office tomorrow.
- Detective Bud Morris: Why? What's wrong? Is there something wrong?
- Megan Hunt: Nothing's wrong. I just want to meet her.
- Peter Dunlop: What do you got?
- Ethan Gross: Hey, you remember that black foreign material that we found in the knuckle laceration? It's gold.
- Peter Dunlop: What is gold doing in a knuckle wound?
- Curtis Brumfield: Could be gold used in restorative dentistry.
- Ethan Gross: Wait, he hit a dentist?
- Curtis Brumfield: No, fool! He hit somebody in the mouth with a loose filling.
- Megan Hunt: [about to test fire a gun] Fire in the hole!
- [shoots]
- Megan Hunt: Ow! Ow!
- [drops gun]
- Ethan Gross: Dr. Hunt, are you okay? What happened?
- Megan Hunt: The gun bit me.
- Kate Murphy: It's called Beretta Bite. If you're not familiar with how to handle it, the slide can give you a nasty cut.
- Peter Dunlop: You wanted to see me?
- Kate Murphy: Close the door.
- [Peter closes the door]
- Kate Murphy: I just want to know where your head is.
- Peter Dunlop: I brought you the gun like you asked.
- Kate Murphy: And?
- Peter Dunlop: Sometimes I want to strangle Megan.
- Kate Murphy: I know the feeling, believe me. But I have never once doubt her commitment to this job. And I hope I never doubt yours again.
