Adan Canto’s tragic death earlier this year left The Cleaning Lady with a big decision to make.
How would it write out his character?
The actor played the scene-stealing Arman Morales on the Fox hit’s first two seasons.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, the recent Season 3 premiere of The Cleaning Lady left Arman wounded but still very much alive.
As the season progressed, his closest allies desperately searched for him after going missing.
The Cleaning Lady Season 3, Episode 6, brought Arman’s storyline to a chilling conclusion when Thony worked with his family to get him back from his captors.
Tuesday’s shocking episode found everyone working together to bring him home, but Thony (Elodie Young) learned that Dante (Clayton Cardenas) may have been responsible for Arman’s capture.

When news of Adan Canto’s death broke in January, The Cleaning Lady was already well into production on its third season.
At the time of Canto’s death, it was revealed that he had stepped away from the Fox drama before filming commenced.
The plan was originally to bring the actor back as Arman Morales during the latter half of the season.
The Cleaning Lady Season 3 got underway on Tuesday evening on Fox, and much to the fans’ surprise, Arman was present for one of the opening scenes.
He was caught up in a shootout, but before fans saw whether the character perished, Thony (Elodie Yung) and Nadia (Eva De Dominici) had to leave the scene.
There’s no telling whether that signals the end of the road for Arman or if the series plans to reveal he escaped from the situation unscathed down the line to safety.

One of the USA Network's most beloved television series is "Monk," which aired from 2002 to 2009. A police procedural comedy owing a lot to Sherlock Holmes (but set in 2000s San Francisco), the show followed Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub). A detective with crippling obsessive-compulsive disorder (Ocd) and social anxiety, Monk was once a police officer but retired after the death of his wife Trudy. He semi-comes out of retirement years later as a private consultant and that's when the series begins. Thanks to his performance as Monk, Shalhoub won three Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series, and the finale ("Mr. Monk and the End") broke cable ratings records.
In 2020, Shalhoub and his castmates starred in a mini-reunion for Peacock, "Monk In Quarantine." Monk, an infamous germaphobe, goes the extra mile with safety precautions during the Covid-19 pandemic while his friends check in on him over Zoom. Evidently,...

Allison Mack has been released from prison.
The Smallville alum had been serving a three-year sentence in prison after pleading guilty to manipulating women into becoming sex slaves via the Nxivm cult.
She was charged with sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy, and forced labor conspiracy and handed a three-year sentence.
News of her release was first shared by Albany Times-Union, which revealed the actress was released Monday, July 3, from a federal prison in Dublin, California, near San Francisco.
The news means that Mack served two of the three years.
Allison Mack was initially facing up to 17 years in prison, but cooperating with prosecutors pursuing a case against ringleader Keith Raniere helped her secure a shorter sentence.
Before her sentencing, Mack wrote a statement to the judge expressing "remorse and guilt" for her actions.

A month away from potentially receiving his first Emmy nomination, Michael Shannon is branching out into directing with “Eric Larue,” Brett Neveu’s adaptation of his own 2002 play. Following a mother seeking some semblance of normalcy in a town rocked by the horrific act of violence perpetrated by her son against three classmates, the movie just premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival to significant acclaim for its leading lady, veteran character actor Judy Greer. Considering the subject, comparisons to “We Need to Talk About Kevin” and “Mass” are unsurprising.
Alexander Skarsgård co-stars as Greer’s born-again husband, and Paul Sparks (with whom Shannon has worked on “Boardwalk Empire” and “Waco”), Alison Pill (“The Newsroom”), Tracy Letts (“Lady Bird”), Annie Parisse (“The Following”), Kate Arrington (“George & Tammy”) and Nation Sage Henrikson (“Shameless”) comprise the rest of the main cast. The Strays is a thriller movie written and directed by Nathaniel Martello-White starring Ashley Madekwe.
The Strays appears to be a classic tv film with an actress that has been in hundreds of these and, however, the film has a look and theme that is more film centered close to Don´t Worry Darling or Us (the Jordan Peele movie) in its subject, although it is more English in its aesthetics.

However, the great director with his ironies and suspense formulas is absent in this pic. Here the suspense is more horror and the intentions posed in the first third of the movie (especially in the look of the...

Peacock has opted not to move forward with creators Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson’s planned adaptation of the comic book series “Dead Day,” exactly one year to the day after the streaming service announced the project.
Variety reports that despite the streamer’s straight-to-series order last January, Peacock is no longer moving forward with the adaptation.
The outlet revealed that “the studio is planning to shop ‘Dead Day’ to other outlets. Peacock had bought the series preemptively, so this will mark the first time it has been shown to other buyers.”
Based on the bestselling AfterShock comic-book series created by Ryan Parrott, the comic book adaptation would’ve seen creators Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson serving as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers.
Per the series’ official plot, it “follows an ensemble of characters as they navigate the annual “dead day,” when for one night the dead come back to...

Veteran Warner Bros. Television casting executive Findley Davidson has departed the studio after 15 years, most recently as head of New York casting. She has launched her own, New York-based independent casting office, Findley Davidson Casting, which will offer casting services for film, television, and theatre.
Davidson, who joined Wbtv in 2008, was made VP and head of the studio’s New York casting office in 2019, following the retirement of VP Meg Simon after a 40-year career. I hear Wbtv will maintain some casting presence in New York though it is not expected to be at the level of the past. The studio’s parent Warner Bros. Discovery has been in a cost-cutting mode post-merger, and casting is one of the areas where the company has scaled back, including the elimination of the HBO Max casting department in favor of adopting HBO’s model that involves using casting directors on individual shows.
