One of the most charming shorts I've seen in forever

Well acted. Well written. Well shot. The boy is a gem. The girl has real pathos. Not only does she star, she also wrote and directed. The overall sentiment of finding your half in life is certainly something I relate to and the way the story is executed is just lovely. I'd love to see this short expanded into a full length eventually. Note: I was one of the original Kickstarter supporters, mostly because the pledge video was of such high quality I just had to hand over some money to see this short be made. I ended up seeing it in theaters at a shorts festival, where it stood out from the rest by quite a bit. I would recommend watching this short if you're into clever dialog, romantic sensibilities, and an appreciation for small stories based on big thoughts.

Brilliantly conceived and executed

This is a terrifically acted and well scripted short film. And very well shot. It is a delightful story with that rare, captivating quality which makes the viewer lose themselves in the tale - you forget you're watching a film, and wake up from the spell only when the credits roll. The script is quite funny. Collington and de Vivenot were superb in their respective roles. de Vivenot's quirky character was particularly engaging. To tell a complete story in such a short time while weaving in all of the necessary background information is a difficult task. Collington does this effortlessly. One of the best short films I have seen in years.
